Tree.hugger, a correction on your previews predictions. You say Flash played ForGG in WCG. Flash played Leta in WCG and ForGG in MSL. :x

hydra is just terrible. while he got a big advantage due to sea being very sloppy, if hydra manages to lose it will be pretty much expected.

Psssh. He played very well in the early game.

This map sucks.

Honestly, he played a very bad late game, and the map has nothing to do with that.

Grand Line is like the Galapagos, it's easy to be a turtle.

Hard map for zerg to begin with, but even harder when you're dealing with late game mech. Terran basically has to build turrets in two places, mine the middle, and it's really difficult to get any kind of successful attack off.

I won't dispute that he didn't handle the late game correctly, but the drops were a good start, it's just a little difficult to do anything.

Okay, by now tank/mines late game vs zerg is not new. Have most zergs not even considered developing a coherent strategy to attempt to beat it? Only a few have been doing anything but suicide units into mines or tanks...

Maybe it's not that easy? Just a thought.

Well, I never said it was easy, indeed it's probably pretty damn difficult...but it's painful to watch so many units suicided into mines, and later, tanks

I wonder why Zergs don't support their Guardians with ~ten Scourges, should make them much less vulnerable.

It felt to me like Hydra's macro is a bit slower than other top zergs. Even after he forced the nat to lift he still never caught up in food.

If only the drops were larger and more focused...a small drop might kill some stuff but once the Terran army regroups all your dropped units evaporate.

Pre-match announcer hyping up Kal vs Fantasy even though it doesn't matter.

is it A1 vs B2, A2 vs B1 and so on?

No it's a random draw, first place vs second place from a different group

Draws are most likely after this game

Hell, just 4 would do, so 1 wraith doesn't counter it hardcore and it might scare the SV a bit.

Indeed. I'm always flustered when there's no scourge with the guardians - I even noted it when LR'ing...

I think that's not settled yet. Sometimes they make it like a circle, A1 -> B2, B1 ->C2, C1->D2, D1->A2, or reverse, D1->C2, etc. But this time? I don't know. In any case, Action and Leta have a likely mirror matchup ahead of them.

I posted this several times.
Zergs usually throw away many scourges during game trying to get a vessel over marine ball but somehow nobody ever use scourges to protect guardians...

Someone email Jaedong. Maybe he will come up with deadly guardians + scourge ball stragegy

It'll be the best match of the night though.

And speaking of which...
the WCG games were so sick, and here I am making these OSL live reports, and waking up early, and there really hasn't been a good game this week. Boo!
