Zerg have to do a lot more than the terran just to win... ![]() welcome to pvt t.t once terran players have a certain skill level they are ridiculously hard to beat €still I have to say, the vulture is too strong in every matchup 75 mins no gas for 3 mines and 20 explosive(?) dmg is pretty hard to beat should cost at least like 15 gas

Effort never was the favorite to win against him, probably even JD isn't. in the past half year Light has an over 90 % win ratio against zerg no way, flash is better than him

it looked like effort had it when he defended his expos but clutch mines rofl... and yeah effort is inferior to zero's play vs mech

Hydra/Muta is a great way to battle Mech when you have a big econ advantage. Which effort never had. Per cost, fully upgraded Goliath/Tank will destroy Hydra/Muta. Effort had to get tricky to stay in the game. Mech play now seems to be a denial of a 3rd or 4th aggressively with marines and then transitioning into Mech off of this earlier base denial of the zerg. I'm not just mindlessly spouting idiocy. Fully upgrading ultras does nothing when the damage received is 85 and 125 respectively.

Specifically the denial of 9 expo and then stall/halt tank, mnm vessel push before consume is complete? Doing it 3 times was too much granted, but the 1st time when he was parked at the natural seemed a reasonable decision. Guardians at the natural unsupported is like never a good idea unless you're seriously destroying the terran and/or he's completely awful (Skyhigh level of TvZ). Sure he stopped the expo, blew a few turrets and killed a few SCVs but lost like 8 to science vessels. Its not like Light was really in an awful position in the first place.
