Thats a pretty bad explanation. If you 2 fac vs DT rush and you get mines in time then you are better off than the Protoss. You can safely expand behind mines knowing no observer tech is coming and you dont NEED mines to attack. Protoss has to block his ramp or risk his nat getting compromised.
The real danger of 2 fac vs DTs is if he drops DTs in your base (obviously going around the mines) and this is why the correct response is to get academy or ebay asap and push.
And yea Movie has been bad lately but every time a progamer under performs do we really need this much bitching and flaming in the thread? Jeez give the guys a break.

How is "no observer tech coming" ? Observers are right on the last after the expansion that you get (mind you a much faster one) when you find your opponent going 2fac. Fast DTs contains the terran, or atelast it should, plain and simple. Movie ended up running his DTs into preset mines because he didn't see the push.
You can defend and expand with 2fac vs DT but that puts you behind, as as soon as P spots that with his obs he can choose to either expand himself or gateway up on a stronger economy (2fac is not a strong economy woop).
The thing is, Movie went reavers so this is all moot on what typically happens in 2fac vs DTs.
