STX is seeded for semi finals. 3rd vs 6th and 4th vs 5th are bo3 of bo7. The winners of each match play in another bo3 of bo7. The winner plays STX.

Back in my 4v4, infinite resource map days on Battle.net (wow, was that like a decade ago lol), a common trick for an allied Terran/Zerg was to Comsat an enemy zerg's creep then build a Nydus there.

My question is, "How can anyone be bad enough to not notice a Nydus Canal going down?" You'd think they'd notice something different on the minimap. Or when they're playing lol.

Or when they're playing lol. How is this that different from when a DT is crushing Drones with an Overlord watching? That happens all the time, even at the pro level (seem to recall it happening in Hydra vs Best in this very match), even though it's often a game-winning play and pros obviously practice noticing it. So if that can happen in ZvP, a matchup where you'd expect it, is it really that surprising an offensive Nydus can happen in ZvZ, a matchup where you're probably not thinking "hmm I should be checking my minimap in case someone is ninja-ing a Nydus"? This was an intense game in which a lot was going on almost the entire time the Nydus was going up (Hyuk finding Effort's hidden base, sending his Mutas to kill it, and then Effort countering in response).

Or when they're playing lol. Well, the point of those BGH-style matches on Battle.net were that none of us were any good. Zerg players went Guardian/Devourer all the time. Protoss players would often push with Reavers without Shuttles. For like my whole first year of playing, I didn't know what Dark Swarm did. I could go on.
