Instead of a third Bo7 you have an ace match as a tiebreaker. Also, I just noticed, every protoss player won their match so far except Movie.

I love the way he faked M&M and managed to kill an expansion with it anyways. I also liked the way Effort sent out some scourge, seemingly in anticipation of vikings or wraiths, only to be completely denied. Fantasy was really on top of it with his build. It wasn't fake mnm - Fantasy had stim researched (but not range). I think the handful of mnm was there to give a mech build early mobility and power - a handful of goliaths are very weak and vulnerable during the early moments of a mech build, but even a small group of mnm is still pretty strong when they have a choke/wall, and pretty mobile. Ordinarily mech can't punish early expansions by zerg, - but this bunch 'o mnm (with stim)->goliath COULD. In this particular game Fantasy shut down quite a few of Effort's attempts at getting a third while he built up his goliath numbers. To be honest, I expect to see this build much more often from the SKT terrans, and even other team's terrans (if they realize the implications of the build) on mech-friendly maps because by trading off a little buildup speed on the mech army, your early game is that much more powerful. Well Bisu is as strong as ever, despite the doubters, and Best has been making the game flow to his preferences. And Snow's been looking super impressive rolling over his hapless, non-flanking zerg victims.

Also, I haven't seen Roro vs. Hyun yet, but if it's anything like typical ZvZ's that don't involve Devourers or offensive Nydus Canals, all three ace matches so far in the playoffs have been <15 min letdowns. We better see an epic Effort vs. Bisu and a rainbow socks totin' Baby vs. Sea on Tuesday. (Though I won't say no to CJ taking it much quicker. :D )

What's even more obvious is that the the current trend of PvZ metagame favors the Zerg and what has transpired the past two days is a small feat all by itself.

Actually, that 2nd match between Mong and Jaedong was closer than it seemed. If Mong kept those two valks alive (as in actually microing them considering there was a full control group of MnM supporting those two valks) when he was pushing toward Jaedong's 9 o'clock, the game would have been very different indeed. Jaedong did not have enough group force to fight against MnM.
