Match results so far:

Silver > Oversky on LT 2.3
Oversky > TheMarine on Warp Gate II (!)
Silver > Black on Highway Star (sunken rush by Silver
)Group C:
ggon > Jju on Predator II (longest game,25 minutes, mainly due to mass static D by Jju
)Control > ogogo on LT 2.3 (12z vs 3t =/ )
Jju > ogogo on Warp Gate II
ggon > Control on Highway Star (dual gates in T's main)
Group D:
I payed more attention to the games in this group, so each result will be followed by a brief description of the game. Only the third game was interesting, however.
Reach > iloveoov on Predator II
Reach used a gate core nexus build, and oov attempted a gundam-style rush which was repulsed by 4 goons atop Reach's ramp. oov tried to take his own nat, but the delay was fatal. GG.
Side > Yellow on LT 2.3
Side placed his 2nd hatch at his nat, which Yellow was unable to stop with lings or earlier mutas. In the end he simply out-produced Yellow with his earlier expo. GG.
iloveoov > Yellow on Warp Gate II
This game was by far the best of the games in this VOD. I can write a comprehensive report if there's interest, but for now, I'll leave you with a brief overview each player's unit combo progression:
oov: rax cc --> 2 port wraith --> 3 port wraith --> M&M/tank/vessel
Yellow: pool hatch @ nat --> muta/scourge --> hydra/muta/scourge --> hydra/lurker/muta/scourge
There was a point near the end where neither player was mining, but oov's standing army+fleet was far stronger than Yellow's, so Yellow GG'd.
Reach > Side on Highway Star
Reach used a 14 nexus build with cannons at the common choke leading to his main+nat. He also delayed Side's nat hatch for so long that Side placed his 2nd hatch in his main. Needless to say, Reach easily out-produced Side. GG.
I don't know who's advancing, since these weren't complete double elim tournaments like the OGN Challenge League. I would guess that the winners of the 3rd and 4th games advance, and the player who lost twice does not. Unfortunately, I'm not sure what happens to the player who won their first game, but then lost their second. Hopefully I'll be able to find out the league format from Aficionado later, or someone else can let us know
.
