All of these things should be calculated into the HT versus Reaver tech discussion. It's like saying fast hive play versus a lurker/hydra lair play is always hive >>> because if you have defilers then you must have a huge army too. coz nobody gets to defilers without all this other tech/eco etc etc. Do you see how this argument doesn't make much sense? THere are inherent pros/cons in taking specific tech paths. You're adding all kinds of contextual bs into it that are not necessarily guaranteed just because you got a certain tech. Everyone understands that in a late game 200/200 situation HTs are going to be better than reavers. But SC is not a game of black and white, there are plenty of conditional situations and rock-paper-scissors. That guy was pointing out that normal reaver timings can be better than rushing to HT in certain situations. I see nothing wrong with that statement. | ||
