Oh, sorry. I'm assuming that when the guy says this: "By looking at his past transfers, I was able to see where his stats originated from. The account A-Maybe connects KTF_SplaSh with 2 other accounts that it plays against, wooknghoo and HotSpurs2 A-Maybe transfers to KTF_SplaSh A-Maybe later transfered to IcheeseAlot --> HotSpurs2 --> wooknghoo --> StylishBW" that's the paper trail that leads into Stylish's A- account according to him. He has that tag ICCup in his name so maybe he has access to IPs and stuff too... idk | ||

Even if you for some reason actually think less of Stylish's quality work here, or don't think him as good a player as his record indicates (and it seems obvious from actually watching his FPVODs that he is), this thread is not the place to BS about it. Consider this a thank you to Stylish for such an incredibly helpful resource, btw. I love the pronunciations, and if anything the Swedish accent actually helps me get more into it, as I've largely been playing with Swedish gamers over the years. It's eerily comforting and easy to listen to. =P | ||

Sorry I haven't been able to post sooner, I've been working my ass off at work dual shifts and then I had to fix some things before I could post. This have to be somewhat long, im not great at writing this stuff but I'll try my best. It all started when Exigent posted my FPVODs on gosugamers.net. Gosugamers thread Thats fine, nothing wrong with that, I'm glad if more people can check out my VODs. However, there were alot talking going on in that thread involving LastShadow and other people. Pulimuli mentioned that he thinks my tvz is very good and then it started. example: LS wrote "i have seen him play, i have played against him with zerg and protoss and terran, and seen him play C+ rank zergs and lose." Now at first I didn't care that much about it. But once the discussion went on, they even opened a new thread talking about me (now i haven't even replied once in that thread) the other thread , i started to get abit upset frankly. All I've done is to put my VODs out there to help people improve their terran play and I get alot of shit from people without ever have talking to them, also never ever have i said my tvz is top outside korea or bragged about anything in my VODs. But I will say it here then, yes I do believe, and Im almost sure about it, that my TvZ very well could get A- with a good rec. This based on players that I have practiced against. Such as haypro and naugim. So I stopped for a while and thought about it. There were two ways i could shut them up. Either i started playing alot of games and got A- so people could see me, or i could use my already B+ smurfs accounts and abuse myself to A- to show the viewers that my TvZ is A-. This is only to show people how compitent my VODs are so they can decide wether or not they want to listen to my advice. And since I've been sick for a while now, and working double shift (thats why I havent been on ventrilo for like a week) i figured I'd call my brother and ask him to get me to A- and so I did. Therefor yes I abused to A-. However, what is important to know, is that I didn't try to show people some skill that I didn't possess. I didn't try to fool the community or get respect that i didn't deserve. I simply tried to show people the fact that my TvZ is probably A- material, and I hope some of you might already have noticed watching my VODs. And it would take quite some while to get from B to A- playing TvZ and I figured, wth why not just take 1 hour and get there and show you the result. That way I could use the time to more important stuff, such as sleep and recording more VODs, coz I haven't recorded a vod since like 10th february. I guess I'm not used to get so much attention. I haven't been playing any official games and I havent been that known to the scene so I never thought it would lead to such wild flames and reactions. I can't really say that Im sorry for abusing, for I actually believe that the purpose would cover the means (i dont know if thats correct english). I'll say it again: I didnt want to show you guys like, hey im this good look at me, if I didn't possess that skill. And since I think I do, I didn't really think of it as such a bad thing, although maybe bad for russia since we got ahead of them on the countryrankings when i got A- lol). Wha, this is getting long and im pretty tired ill just continue with this: Now that i came home from work and saw that someone detected my abusegames i was like oh no, well i guess i'll have to play legit then? So therefor, starting from yesterday i believe, even with working alot on my job I started to play on StylishTvZz since I felt I owed it to the community. I played like 15 straight games when i got home from work and today ive played like another 15 games. I got 8900 and then i guess im starting to feel tired coz i havent slept very well because of all this hate towards me, so I lost 2-3 games and am atm on 8700. I was really hoping i would win that last game on 8900 so i could post this, coz it was the whole meaning of the massgaming, but I feel like you have the right to know and I actually dont know if i can muster any more energy to play today, ive been playing for 10 straight hours now. Now if you want me to, I will continue playing and will not sleep until I reach A-, and it was this, exactly this, that i wanted to avoid. Feeling the preassure and having to play for hours and hours to show you that my TvZ was comitent enough for making VODs. I guess I failed, since those guys were so eager to flame me. Now I've played for about 20 hours on 2 days and I could very well have used that time to record vods instead. I was going to play more games now, and I wasnt gonna post this until I reached A- but im having a hard time finding games atm since its the very last minute of season and most people dodge me. Game seachtime is like 30min + and its sad. Here is some of the replays on my way to A-. I dont know how to make a pack of it so i uploaded them one by one. (hence anyone calling me a hacker is wayyyyyy off i barely know how to open microsoft word) game1 game2 game3 game4 game5 game6 game7 game8 game9 game10 Im sorry i couldnt include all the games, my autoreplay isn't working and i don't know how to fix it, so i tried to save whenever I could remember... I'm sorry if I've offended anyone. I've only wanted to help the community out, spending counless of hours recording vods and doing guides for you guys. I wanted to show the community that my tvz was A- skill and i took the easy way out since i knew that the outcome would be the same and I didn't feel like i owed the community to play many hours just to show you that my VODs are good. I really didn't have time to game to A- but ive been playing whenever i've been able to for the last 3 days and slept like 3hours a day. I never did any of this for my ego. I didn't enter a tournament and maphacked or something so i would win something that i couldnt win. I haven't actually done anything to anyone here except posted VODs and guides and i find it abit sad that so many reactions are so harsh. I wouldnt care if people think my tvz is bad or whatever, i dont seek attention and i dont think i will play official games coz the foreign community is too harsh for that in my oppinion and i play badly under preassure. But i wouldnt let people talk about that my strategies are bad and that my VODs arent good. I've spent way too much time to let that pass without any reaction. About the record. was like 85-25 wasn't an attempt to fool you either. The account i've played on since then has like 10 losses from B to 8700 (at one point 1 game away from A-) and since going from b to a- is much harder than d to B i guess a total losscount of like 20-30 games is fairly representable for my tvz. Im sorry that I coulnt say anything to my friends on ventrilo about this, but they already knew my tvz so i actually figured that they wouldnt care that much and i really hope they understand after reading this. Now if anyone feel offended feel free to flame me. What i've written here is the whole truth and if you have questions I will answer them. I have no interest of having an A- for egoistic purposes so if you want me to record some VODs on A- vs koreans i can do so. I would gladly have used the last 3 days to record VODs instead of massgaming on Iccup to show you guys what I already know. If some are dissapointed at me then i guess you have the rght to be but i dont think i deserve that reaction because of what i've written here. If you cannot understand then i guess im very different to the rest of you. Im on my last days of playing bw, that why i started making my VODs. I will quit bw in the summer and then i will probably not start again. Everything i've done these last months was for the community, you can believe it or not, i dont really care. If you dont want to watch my VODs and want to flame me for this then fine, it doesnt matter to me. I only felt I had to post this to explain to the people that like me and my friends on bw. They deserved to know the truth. Thnx to those who have been patient, im glad some of you take this as lightly as i have. For i really cannot see that i've been mean to anyone what so ever. Im going to watch this thread for a while now and answer questions. I hope you understand what I've been trying to say, i know my english might not be the best... edit: maybe this was a good thing after all, i feel more eager to make a vod now than before, and ive tried out alot of new strategies on B+ that i can show in my vod.  Seriously man i don't care if you abused and what rank your tvz is in a ladder. All i can say is that thanks to your vods and explanations i played like 30 games in a row. And i've never done that. Ever. Thanks to you i enjoy my favorite race even more and the game itself got so much more fun. Respect for all the work and thanks for all the help. | ||
