Silversky I don't play biomech vs protoss. My mechanics would probably get me to C+ B- TvP with biomech but not my undetstanding of that startegy or the build itself. Therefor I don't think I can do that sort of build. However if I learn that build in the future I might put it up! My next project will probably be an alternate opening for TvP. However I'm not sure yet, new maps on iccup now so I will probably focus on some good builds for medusa!! | ||

Another question I've got is what do I do if the Protoss stays on 2 bases and masses up (like White_Ra did against Idra in TSL). In this case, I guess the 5 Factory timing push is not applicable, am I right? So, what to do then? | ||

If he doesn't expand you will be able to scan this. Then just sit tight, add a 6th factory and mass units from two bases. When +1 is finnished start +1armor. Move out when you have about 160 suply or when he's taking a third. Your 1-1 units will help alot in the fight. You should cut scv when you are at about 90-100 suply so you can have even more units vs the 2base protoss. | ||

i played some mech today on B level and i found out another opening vs 2hatch ill try to make a vod about it this weekend etc.. just alittle short about it: if you notice that he is going 2 hatch you can actually make 1 fact-exp. If he upgrades lingspeedfirst you upgrade vultspeed and move out with 3 vults and then lift cc to exp. If he makes lair first, place exp at the spot to get economical advantage. then add armory and 2 factories (total of 3) add ebay as you transfer to your exp and then cut scvs to be abkle to make 3 goliath and upgrade armor + make a few turrets in time. This has actually worked really well for me on iccup. Anyway i will make a vod about it.. Going to watch a movie now and then sleep hopefully, gl hf everyone!! | ||

Thanks a bunch! gas after pool means he's going 3 hatch but abit faster lair (or speedlings) than usual with lower economy or fewer lings. Gas same time as pool or slightly before pool means 2 hatch. Be sure to scout if he adds lair quickly after mining the gas. If he doesnt get lair fast it means he's going for a speedlingrush before muta or lurk, usually muta. gas after 3rd hatch is standard 3hatch. From there they usually go mutaliskt, but they can also do a lurkeropening. If they do lurkeropening they often add an evolutionchamber aswell, so be sure to look for one when you scan. if they dont take gas and dont make a 3rd hatch they usually proxy a third hatch somewhere on the map. when scouting with the scv be sure to look what pops out of the eggs. If he has 3 larvas saved up when the pool finnishes this usually means he's doing 6 or 8 lings, in that case you will need to make a bunker. If he has 1 or 2 larvas saved up he usually make 4 lings and then only try to kill your scv. | ||
