If you dont select the htokey before they redrop you can use it to attack the probes really fast You mean that a reaver attacks faster when you immediately give it a target than when you let it auto-aquire its target?

And to the above cause idk how to multi quote, it does seem like the reaver shoots faster if you manually select target, just a small bit. It's probably because you skip the time for the reaver to decide target priorities.

Is this possible? I think beenizzle is just seeing things

Maybe what happened is he clicked on reaver image to drop and then clicked the probe to target before the reaver showed up out of the shuttle? :-/ A VOD would be nice to settle this :-D

Example: hotkey reaver to 2 you can press 2 as much as you want (even with the reaver in the shuttle) when the reaver is available the hoykey will still be working).

But the OP is talking about giving reavers targets while in the shuttle, which, to my knowledge, is undoable. For some reason, if you give lurkers a target while they're burrowing, they do shot faster. See FCUK's "return of the subtitle thread". Give the reavers targets manually isn't noticeably faster - you'd think if anybody, Leg would have noticed and mentioned it in his thread. I tested it; you only lose the hotkey if one of the units is outside the shuttle. IE you have 2 reavers and one of them's outside the shuttle, you click the hotkey and you've lost the hotkey for both reavers (specifically, the reaver outside the shuttle is kept in the hotkey). I guess the same is true of units that are stasised and stuff.

And to the OP there's no way you can target things with your reaver before it's unloaded, he was probably just telling his shuttle to go over the probe in question
