Don't get me wrong, I enjoy writing, and I love StarCraft, so this was very fun to write, albeit tedious, so while I would like to write another guide like this for another match-up, I need to use my spare time for other things at the moment.

Wait hive zvz is probably the most complex thing in the game nvm.

Actually, to be quite honest, ZvP is one of the more "figured out" match-ups, and margin for error is very low for the Protoss, who can quickly slide into a lost game, whereas Zerg can recover from a big hit. I'm speaking very generally, of course, because the only real factor at hand are the people behind the computers. ZvZ is actually incredibly complicated and would require a guide just as long as this one, if not longer.

You place them at your naturals, not main. Given that you have lurkers, the spore colony is to shoot observers (and sairs plus detect DT, but those are a lesser problem). So place the spore colony forward a little where it's able to be extremely annoying for Protoss observers, and try place your lurkers such that they protect the spore and it protects them. Sunken behind your wall.

Ergo error. It's not a mistake... any time the Protoss goes heavy corsairs early, there is a threat of drops, and the sunken colony and spore colony should placed close to the mineral line. I usually put one above the hive, and one directly below it. It gives you some static detection against dark templar and something to shoot them with. Of course, if it's a 4 DT drop, the spore colony is going to die pretty fast, but usually most people don't drop 4, but rather 1-2 dark templar + 2 zealots or 2 high templar, especially if you go lurker + spore at your front. Obviously, you still will want a spore colony at each natural. If you ask "Hey, why even bother making a spore and sunken in my main?" the answer is that you will have a quite large economy at that time, so it will not be a major investment, and could save your drones from death. But again, you can alter any build order to suit your personal style, so if you feel like you can handle drops well without ever needing any static defence, then by all means, omit it from your build.
