Honestly when i looked at it it seemed like a strong terran map, the only real issues i saw where getting across the bridges if your contained and the large main letting you get dropped. But i just checked the stats in TL and it was 60% imba for protoss so i just banned it. Not sure if thats just outdated or what.

Yes scouting with 1st corsair and probe is key... is he mining gas at his nat? Does he have a den? These things can be a tell but it is still tricky for me. A good Zerg can just make a den and not do anything with it to throw me off. Advice? | ||

It s a tricky question, but you should be poking with +1 speed zealots (assuming a neo bisu build from your post) around that time. It goes like this: 1st corsair scout: no lair : hydra bust, get a lot of canons. You see a lair, scourges chase you: not a 3h hydra. Get your +1 speedzeal 7:30 push with the sairs and push out to Z. If you see a ton of hydras, either delay by running around and threatening a backstab or take the fight if you feel you can kill a lot of hydras (usually taking the fight isnt great but you need to buy time for more canons and the storms/hts). Whatever you do if it s hydra do not freely lose corsair for an overlord, move them around, check larva production (drones? Hydras? Mutas? A shit ton of scourges?) Check for a 4th. Usually (but not always) muta play comes on the back of more zerglings early (so the z doesnt die to zealot pressure). Replays would help but if you die to very early (before the 8min mark) muta play, you should probably send yoir first one or 2 zealots towards z base to check/force lings. A common mistake (and i still make it too often) in pvz is to sit at home and play blind. Use your units, z wants to drone early on, so pressure him, just dont die to counter attacks ^^ Edit: if you scout a 973(4) hydra bust incoming with your corsair, stop corsair production, cancel +1 air if you re tight on gas and get storm asap + a lot of canons, add a forge in your main to keep making canons if he kills the one in your wall. Stop canons and resume sair production and add gateways when you see z remaking drones at his 3rd/4th (use your corsair just to check his production, dont attack anything unless you have a free overlord waiting) | ||

I have tried patrolling my corsair fleet (if it survives) around the exterior of my main, but the problem is they dont kill overlords quite fast enough. I also am tried dedicating a portion of my army to just sit in my main, but then I lose the big fights because I am "down" in supply. I think to try cannon in main is good idea but at what cost? vs cracklings? i think not I tried recently putting a DA with maelstrom and 2 HT to snag the overlords but this is gimmicky. I need something more solid. | ||

Once you start building those defensive reavers, you should also get the shuttle speed upgrade (or earlier), it is crucial to be able to harass zerg expansions. | ||
