Cut him some slack, I am pretty sure Tasteless and SDM were also very nervous when they casted for the first time. The point is that the Semifinals shouldn't have been casted by someone who had never done it before. There was some Jason guy or something that previously filled in for Tasteless that did fine. Also, Susie still works for GOM I believe, and used to be a caster. They should've called people with experience the minute that they decided to have Tasteless cast e-stars with Artosis. That they didn't bother to find a replacement until 10 minutes before, and just grabbed a random white guy, is pretty mind bogglingly unprofessional.

There were ysome casters worse than DJWheat.(No offence to wheat, he just doesnt know anything about starcraft) This guy claims to play zerg, but later wonders if the players are trying to make their opponent's hatcheries more difficult to select. I ROFLed wheat knew pretty much nothing about starcraft (he picked it up as they continued), but he did an absolutely amazing job considering what he had to offer. If I can't have tasteless/artosis casting an event, wheat/tasteless is probably one of my favorite alternatives

Pity Starcraft isn't one of his main games. The issue I have with Tasteless is that he is pretty much a play-by-play commentator, but his knowledge is better suited for a color commentator. Reason for that is because he learned to cast solo so he had to be a little bit of everything, but it leave room to improve now when he cast with someone else.

He's literally the token white guy that goes to gom tv games and sometimes brings tasteless water..and recently he brought SDM water too. So apparently, all you have to do to become a gomtv commentator is bring tasteless and sdm water...stock up now kids!

They had a week to get a potential replacement, I would have been extremely happy if he came in to sub for Tasteless, but alas, they got the chump from the crowd.

GOM is at fault, he wasn't good, and they can't have expected him to be, we really need a native English speaker who knows what he's talking about for everything to be enjoyable in my opinion. Nothing was ruined for me, but I really expect an organization that expects to be taken seriously to have a backup plan for something they obviously knew about at least a little beforehand.

8/21 ~ 8/22 – BlizzCon Stream w/ djWHEAT, Tasteless, & Artosis. As expected, but I'm very happy they got the three guys again edit: If everyone knew this already, just ignore this post.

He had a hard job with a cocaster he never met before. SDM had the same problem but has a lot of experience to pull him through. He knew he was making mistakes but he didn't let that get to him too much. Otherwise he would just have fumbled and folded.
