1) Open command prompt as administrator. 2) Make sure you are on your partition drive(usually C  .3) Type in: bcdedit.exe /set {current} nx AlwaysOff 4) Then go to your run textbox at the start menu and type in msconfig. 5) Disable UAC in your tools tab. 6) If all that didn't work then put your SC installation in a different folder than program files and it should still run. the only problems i have are the colors that are messed up outsider of games, but in games the colors are usually fixed, so BW has never really been a problem for me but this is obviously some conflict in the programming; is there any easy way to fix this? if you have a decent solution PM me the post please cause i might forget abotu this thread :D | ||

I've also heard that while in fullscreen you cna simply go to the ingame options menu and disable colour cycling and that should be it. This is for crashes , I don't know about colour. | ||

I actually tried wmode on all my other friend's laptops and not a single one had a problem after using it. It really doesn't take anything to get used to. You just have to change your resolution each time you play which isn't really that tedious to do. | ||
