"이것이 기쁨의 눈물,
스타리그 진출에 성공한 , 너무나 기뻐 눈물을 흘리고 있다."
It says "These are tears of joy. The successfully OSL qualified YoonJoong was so happy that he was crying."

I don't think many of us understand what kind of feeling it is to qualify for an OSL after you have practiced most of your teenage life to do so. I mean, the kid is 18 and has just made what is probably one of his biggest dreams come true. Of course he's gonna cry. Imagine the pressure leading up those games? The emotional release after winning must be insane.
Edit: Before the translation I thought they were tears of sadness too.

It was Shuttle. He mentioned in the translation interview I did that he cried because he thought of his parents when he won.

this kid has qualified for like two osl's already and has miserably failed in all of them.
don't understand why he cries now.

lolz.
Good to see more emotionality in the game. It's a side you don't get to see much and shouldn't only be reserved for OSL wins imo (hi jd).

Yeah he knocked out Jaedong. Get over it already.

Hey, Shuttle's like one of the best B-Team protoss players, maybe he just needs more time.
If only Kal would teach this kid a thing or two.

for some reason that sounds terribly dirty. I agree though, he has every right to cry. Manly tears, of course.

don't understand why he cries now. September 09, 1992
hahahaha
GTR you've obviously not worked hard enough at something to be emotionally invested in it. You should probably tone down on the cocky and obnoxious comments before you've actually experienced it.
|
GTR has experienced internet spammage on TL.net since he was like 11, I think he has teh experience.
|
I miss worded, I meant before he's actually experienced investing himself emotionally in something the way some of the players do.

Like how to play ridiculously streaky?
|
I like looking at players expressing their emotions like that. Whether it be Jaedong expressing his fury he is about to unleash on his opponent or the chilling sweatdrop from a player who is about to lose his ace match after a 30 minute macro war.
In saying that the sweatdrop isn't really an expression of emotion ....... haha

don't understand why he cries now. Maybe his parents beat him when he doesn't make it in video games. Sort of like how PRodigy/Rob promised his mom he would be 'sussessful' but can't handle pressure.

I think when your parents beat you for failure it makes your victories less enjoyable, or at least that is my experience.
EDIT: Oh I get it now, he's crying because he wanted to see FBH's ceremony.

Ha. When I got my victories, I always tried to celebrate and make it look like to my parents, "no thanks to your beatings."

Nice thing that someone dares to show his emotions
