To fix this, the guide shows in the photo of FLME that the bitrate should be set at 650 Kbps, however the maximum bitrate you can stream at on Mogulus is set to a maximum of 500 Kbps, so lowering this should fix it.
I haven't got verified on Mogulus so I guess the maximum bitrate streaming could be raised if you were. I am getting this error as well. I changed the bitrate but it didnt seem to fix this problem UPDATE: I changed the bitrate down even farther to 400 and it seemed to work then. 500 was still to high for mine for some reason. Now that I have fixed that problem I have now run into another. I can get this to work just fine with SC in windowed mode, but as soon as I full screen it blows up. The stream starts showing like 80% of my screen as pink and the rest is my desktop. There is nothing of starcraft on there. Any ideas? UPDATE AGAIN: Ok my SC shows up on the stream now however it is all colored weird and smeared (best way i can describe it). Its like when the color screws up on streams with camtasia and you just have to hit the capture button to fix it...but I am using VHcapture and I cannot seem to find a "start capture" or "stop capture" keybind or option.
Yeah looks like Mogulus downsized the maximum incoming bitrate

Have you gotten it to work with full screen SC?
I haven't gotten it to work at all on my computer, my friend uses it with dawn of war 2, in game mode

I made like 4posts in this thread why not to use VHcapture and people keep fucking ignoring it zzz VHscreenCapture Drivers Will never work for starcraft broodwar.
also its still 500 nothing changed.

well i did all your guide and it works.. but my friend couldnt hear the starcraft sound.. and pretty laggy.. my bitrate is at 250 =O
is there any other thing i should do to stream it better? thx

if your connection cant handle it you'll have to downsize output resolution and bitrate even more.
you gotta decide whether you want other people to hear your microphone or to hear your sc sounds. read previous pages to find out how to set it to sc sounds.

Apparently there are some people that are retarded enough (I'm looking at you RoSe, but also at other people) to think they have to put my channel name in their mogulus url in FMLE.
I get an email every single time you do this. Stop it for fucks sake.

mogulus has an adobe flash media server, thats the one you use.

So how do i install the encoder?

I've got some mouse lagg when running fmle and starcraft at the same time. My computer is probably too slow. Do I dare lowering the fps to 8 or something or will that fuck everything up? Will lowering the bit rate or the output resolution lower the cpu drain? Must I have my channel page open in the webbrowser to be able to stream or can I close that and only run camtasia/fmle/starcraft?
I also have some problems enabling cpu throttling - the option simply isn't there. See?
Anyone else who can't enable it? Would enabling it (in some way) lower the drain on the cpu?
Edit: The image refuses to show up but copy/pasting the url should work.

Wow nice guide rage. However may i ask one question ? I remember when i first used camtasia years ago and deleted it right away because of hard drive space's issues. I mean for a 25 min game for example the .avi file was worth 2GB. Do you think the techsmith thing really make it so it doesn't take that much space in our hard drive ?
|
when i load my FMLE settings its unable to valide, are the profiles to be saved as .xml? i dont think that is correct, but if it is then meh ! wtf! lol but i got it all to work thanks man. edit: nvm i just had to overwrite the current .xml file, my problem was trying to create a new one.

CPU Throttling is the only way to maybe get it to lag less. If that doesn't help, and you ponly have camtasia/FMLE and sc running, your computer is too slow.

You're streaming, not recording. So it doesn't take up any hard drive space at all.

Everyone else doesn't seem to have this problem. Not to mention it makes zero sense lol. In 99% of the cases FMLE is running on a different pc than the media server, so there should be no requirement.

Like mentioned on this very page, Mogulus decided to cap the upstream limit to 500kbps recently. Judging by the log, thats probably what's happening to you, you're broadcasting at a bitrate above > 500kbps total, and they shut your connection down.

hmmm I set up everything the way that was in the guide (using version 5.02) but when I hit record/start on flash only a black screen shows up on my Mogulus Live stream =\ anyone know whats going wrong?
n/m i got it to work just all colorful now =\
