Don't touch the input resolution. Try to change the resolution and bitrate in such a way that you have the best stream quality without lagging in Starcraft due to lack of bandwith. And yes, it's normal that your cpu usage goes through the roof. Playing SC while encoding is very tough on your CPU. Make sure you have CPU Throttling enabled in your SC speed options. Also, make sure your case is decently cooled if you plan on streaming for long periods of time, or your motherboard will fry.

But everyone else that tried getting verified needed too. Maybe it's a new rule, maybe me and ret got lucky. It's not a lot of effort anyway, takes like 3 minutes to get your auto-pilot running.

anyone know how to solve this problem? (some more information: im running it on XP 32 bit intel Duo core 3.33 ghz 2 GB ram Ati radeon HD 4850 and i use Camtasia 5.0.2) edit: i just noticed its a camtasia problem. when i start recording with camtasia, it makes my starcraft lag terrible. is it necessary to use camtasia 4 when im on xp?

i use camtasia 4, ingame i have no lag but my stream has a big delay and lags because my old connection was horrible, anyways your problem might be because you didnt enter all the data right and that might be why when u open camtasia you start experiencing problems, recheck to see if you entered all the information right

Just use the stereo mix as the audio device in the adobe flash media encoder.

Do not change Camtasia audio settings. Let FMLE handle audio input, Camtasia shouldnt be recording audio at all in live output capture mode. Let me know if that helps anything.

Take screenshots of your Camtasia and FMLE setup, the output screen, the screen on the FMLE preview. Make sure you rebooted your pc after setting the live capture driver standard resolution, and definately make sure you have 640x480 as your input resolution in FMLE. Like you said, there's been someone else with this problem, and he'll be in a better position to help you than me.
