At what point in your SC skill level are you allowed to discount your own losses due to the method used by your opponent to beat you? Is it at the level where you lift off the only building blocking your badly clumped tanks just as P is attacking or...? You may say that Fenix stinks or is cheezy or whatever lame excuse but if he decides to cheeze early and win against a player who is known for preferring a macro game then i call him a genius. | ||

The point is that the all-in doesn't demonstrate mechanical ability at all, as the game is pretty much over, one way or the other, at that point. It didn't show whether fenix could keep up with Idra late game in a macro war where multitask and mechanics are important. It showed that Fenix could succesfully exploit Idra's lack of good turret placement and keep up basic macro while doing so. Sure, Fenix showed he could win. He didn't demonstrate that he could keep up in the late-game, where most Korean matches end up (remember the purpose of Spirit). Though from what I remember, his TvP wasn't that bad. | ||
