If you're lucky (if u define that as luck), your account might last for longer if someone isn't in the mood of removing it.

D2: You make a character named Xkdakeaw. You go inactive for 90 days and it expires. As long as no one else had created a character with the same name after the expiration, you can reclaim it and all the items/levels are restored.

If you leave the account 3 months it's expired. It still exists, but it can be recreated and someone else can take the name. so in the case of the account with {} it can't be remade because {} are illegal characters now so you don't need to worry about it ever.

basically after 3 months its up for grabs but its still yours til someone takes it
