well, I have gotten some recent multiple copyright strikes requesting takedown for my videos uploaded. It's actually my first time getting copyright striked on my channel as in past when similiar incident happened, Snow contacted me to request takedown before he took any copyright action
I think progamers will start to take notice on my channel and it wouldn't be best for me to continue uploading on the channel as much on current active progamers, especially to those that will take notice of my channel.
I originally started the channel due to demand from foreign community and slow (none) response from my subtitle submission on progamer's channels. However, right now, there seems to be enough awareness of videos on YouTube to at least submit copyright strikes, so I think it's best to stop uploading more.
I do hope that the current issue could be solved amicably like with SnOw but in end of day, I am taking their content without their consent so I don't blame them if they feel like I am stealing content for my own benefit. Even if I don't earn revenue from my YouTube, progamers don't know that and they rightfully should be upset at my actions really.
For now, I took all of Queen's videos down, and not much could be salvaged anyway (to be submitted to his channel) because most weren't subbed but were just voice translation of his guides. I will try to submit 2 I do have subs on his videos but those are old videos honestly.
In future going ahead, I hope to continue subbing for Snow primarily as he pumps out amazing content. I did submit few subtitle 3 weeks ago, but I haven't gotten response yet. Fingers crossed!
Most I will do going ahead regarding videos on channel would be unlisted videos for patreon requests honestly and more Sparkyz story videos. I don't feel like uploading more pro content publicly with the current copyright situation is really "right" or a smart move at all.
Just letting you guys know before I get nuked!
--- P.S. please don't get upset at progamers. Do try to think from their point of view.

for record, I won't completely stop uploading, it will just be limited to inactive ones like Sparkyz stories.

I think all those progamer youtube videos are managed by the same company. They all had the same edit style, music, effect, etc... I guess if the company want to take you down all of video has to go.

End of an era :[
Jinjin I hope you can continue to translate the Korean scene's content somehow if possible! Maybe you can find support from Patreon or something or work some kind of deal with the Pros on translating their content that gives you some better financial support from your important work! Thank you again for all you've done!

How about private videos? Put the link here, no one else could find them if you'd do it like that. I'm sure it has a different name but basically you upload the videos on youtube but don't have them publicly out in the open, can only see them if you have the link of the video itself. That would/could solve this issue.
Pretty ridiculous from snow tbh.

People love the old school stuff. You can translate everything since BW started in Korea and ppl would still eat it up I think!

If I understand correctly, what you want to say is that you and Snow had a misunderstanding in the past, and the problem was solved amicably. And this is the first time you encountered a similar problem since then.
But the wording in your first post can make readers have the impression that Snow is the one who just copyright striked you and makes you stop your channel for now.
Maybe you should edit your post a little bit, and clarify the one on reddit as well. No need for further misunderstanding.

Thanks, corrected Regarding unlisted/private video, I think way forward will be that regarding patreon requests. But public videos will just be limited to britney stories mostly

Exactly, I read it as SnOw being the one who copyright striked you, my apologies.

Not sure its greed. There is no understanding between parties so in current state its stealing content.
Maybe should have a dialogue with each player/partner.
I dont know what counts as fair use of content but it surely isnt replaying the exact same video.
Im questioning if you could delete faces and scramble the sound so it isnt the same content but only the gameplay shown with text.
Not sure recording the game and saying its yours counts really as your own content. Those without faces might even be usable.

I understand all of this and copyright rules but FFS it's 2021, BW (sadly) dying) it's 0,01% amount of people watching this entirely, on top of that jinjin doesn't earn anything. If I was progamer I would give less than half a shit if someone is reuploading my stream somewhere else, instead it will make me/my stream more popular.
I read about Saiyan, and Afreeca is really being dick lately.

Thanks for making these translations, jinjin.

Sucky position, thank you for your translation videos, I've found value in them before now.
I hope you can come to some arrangement with the progamers, as their content is largely inaccessible to english speakers, so it's not like you would be taking away traffic for them.
