Since the launch of repmastered.app 7 months ago, I've been gathering publicly available replays from all over the internet relentlessly. There are hundreds of thousands of replays already, recording games of hundreds of thousands of players on thousands of maps.
I'm "running out" of publicly available replays, so I need your help.
As of 2020 seeing the current state of StarCraft and its community I don't think there's any real reason left that would justify keeping your replays private anymore. I urge everyone to upload your replays at repmastered.app/upload. You do not need to register to upload replays. You may upload replays anonymously, but if you login first, you'll be able to filter to your uploaded games only.
Why should you upload replays?- Your replays will not be lost accidentally. Basically this is a free backup for you.
- Your replays will become searchable on the site: you can search by date, players, format, matchup, type, map, custom tags etc.
- You get an in-browser replay analyzer for all of your replays, similar to BWChart that's accessible anywhere, anytime.
- You get comprehensive statistics about your StarCraft history, much more than Blizzard will ever show you.
- Your replays will help build statistics of all other players you played with or against.
- Your replays will help build statistics of the maps you played, providing more accurate popularity and other statistics.
What kind of replays should be considered?- All replays are welcome. It doesn't matter if it was a tournament, ladder, UMS, team game or played locally (or on LAN).
- It doesn't matter how old the replay is. Statistics desire replays from all ages.
- It doesn't matter which version of StarCraft it was played with, all version are supported, back to the 1.08 version when replays were first introduced in 2001.
You should not worry about uploading duplicates, repmastered.app detects if a replay is already uploaded, and also detects if multiple replays of the same game are uploaded.
If you're an admin of a website and have replay packs stored on your server, please upload them. If you don't want to bother uploading, at least post a link to the pack here and I'll be glad to do it for you.

As with every service, they will only be lost on purpose once your service disappears without any warning. And with it the "free backup".

i have like 6/7 k replays somewhere from 2009-2016 but cannot find my hard drive; once i do will upload them to this thread
Edit: found like 10 replays that for some reason are on my computer; uploaded them, however i might have done it twice, it was so fast and there is no comfirmation of the replay being uploaded; basically it seems that it is working flawlessly, yet me as a user is uninformed of the procedings taking place; hope this helps

No, what I meant was that if you only store your replays on your hard drive for example and anything happens to them (e.g. accidental delete, hard disk failure, ransomware etc), your replays are lost. But if you upload them to repmastered.app and then you lose your replays from your hard drive, they will still be accessible on repmastered.app.

Thanks for the reps. There's no problem uploading twice, don't worry about that.
While replays are being uploaded, there's an "Uploading... please wait..." message displayed, and your browser should indicate "work-in-progress". When the upload is finished, the page is reloaded and the upload results are displayed on top of the page (e.g. how many replays were uploaded, how many failed etc.) and direct links to the games of the uploaded replays. I think it's pretty obvious. And yes, uploading 10 replays should be just 1-2 seconds.

Stop giving Skynet replays or one day a BW robot to surpass even Flash may be born!
But no, cool initiative.

Not until BWAPI for Remastered is finished.

Don't mean to come off as a conspiracy nut but why are you so interested in having a ton of noobie replays? Like, what benefit does it bring to your project? Is there an end-goal that I'm not seeing?
I have a couple thousand replays but I am afraid of uploading because then everyone will know my smurfs. Jk. The reality is that I like to look at them separately as opposed being part of one "career". Some names I only played random on, some names I only played drunk on, etc.
EDIT: A ton of my replays are already on there btw and I have to say the project is awesome, great work and thank you!

Accounts are not merged. So if you upload replays from multiple accounts, they will still be displayed separately. Statistics are gathered and displayed based on player name, not based on who uploaded the replay.
The uploader is not displayed, so uploading all your replays will not make it possible to tell your akas. A replay may be uploaded by multiple persons too so multiple users can have the same replay in their "My Uploads", but it will only be counted in statistics once.

Thanks. I know about battlereports.com, all their replays are already imported.

I thought there was an AKA system >_> my bad.

The majority of the community isn't the top players, the share of progamers is well below 1%. If we would collect only replays with 300+ APM, that wouldn't represent the community. Yet if you look at the Battle.net game list, there are always games on money maps (maybe even half of the games).
Also the number of games and players' activity includes playing versus less-skilled players.Without those games statistics will not be accurate.

This is very cool! Haven't uploaded any of my replays yet but already found some 3v3 games from over 10 years ago that are on there.
Close Encounters <3
edit: Just uploaded 3k replays. Unfortunately the ones from my original PC are lost I think.

Sure, mostly Jonoman92. SCC-Arcology in a few.
We also used to play a game we made up called Pentagon when we had 5 players and we'd use 5 player maps. Usually on Predators. Found one of those too (from my own upload batch.)
Will be at my parents house this weekend - There's a chance I have more replays there from old pc so we'll see!

Good idea, I don't see this as anything negative if it is just for statistics. Keep up the amazing wizard work Dakota
