Welcome Everyone!
I am proud to announce the launch of FFSCL. A league designed to remind everyone to have fun while we play this unbelievably competitive game that we all love. The goal is to create a league focused on enjoyment for players of similar skill levels to play and participate in not only the competitive 1v1’s but to have great times enjoying other for fun team games.
Each Clan must have a minimum of three active players to sign up, and I would recommend more. Please fill out your rosters by recruiting from the CPL and RSL discords. MMR will be capped at 1800 so please try to have an even mixture of players across the range of MMR. If you are not in a clan and want to participate, please join the discord server and ask around.

New information will be posted in this thread. Please join the server and indicate if you are a leader or captain. Sign-ups and rosters will be organized through the server.
How to Sign-Up: Please sign up in the Sign-Up section in discord. (Name of Clan and Tag, Leaders/Captains, Roster of Players (Should have at least a minimum of 3 active Players)
Example:
Mysterious Gravity mG[]

Deadline for Sign Ups: Friday September 4th
Line Ups will be released on every other Sunday
THIS MEANS THAT YOU SHOULD SIGN YOUR CLAN UP BEFORE THE FIRST SATURDAY IN SEPTEMBER. IF YOU HAVE NOT SIGNED UP BY THEN YOU WILL HAVE TO WAIT AT LEAST A MONTH TO PLAY.
Format
- Once Line-ups are released Players will have 2 weeks to set up a time to play their matches.
- Default time will be 21:00CEST/12:00PM PST every other Saturdays (September 19th and October 3rd)
- Clan matches will be selected by using a Swiss Round System
- Each Clan will play: (Matches will be BO3)
3-1v1
Maps:
- New Empire of the Sun
- New Bloody Ridge
- Neo Medusa 2.2
1- 2v2
Maps:
- Python 1.3
- Iron Curtain
- Hannibal
1- Special events will consist of either a 3v3BGH/Fastest/Hunters or a 2v2 Team Melee (Will be chosen by Admin)
-First week will be 3v3BGH
Rules
- By signing up leaders, captains and players confirm that they have read and understood these rules and will obliged by them.
- Absolutely no cheating in any way or form is allowed
- No shit talking, trash talking, or anything to which will cause issues and drama.
- Players are not allowed to play in more than one 1v1 but are allowed to play in both the 2v2 and Special events games.
- KESPA Rules apply

couple questions if you do not mind:
MMR cap : how is it enforced? Active or historic MMR? (and isnt 1800 a wee bit high?)
will there be some sort of tiers or MMR matching (I mean as much as it can be done ,expecting team disparities there obv) or pure random?
Do teams need to be "real" teams and the players carry their tag or can one be formed for the event ? (example a combo rev/ash team for example)
Is random allowed? Is race pick/switch allowed? (between sets? between weeks?)

This is a clan league, and it's a for-fun league. If you're above 1800, don't play. If you play people who are 1800 on even footing and have 1750 mmr, don't play. If you were 1800 last season, maybe think about not playing. The cap is there to tell people the maximum level of play I want to be included. As far as tiers go, Captains will be working with me and each other to create even matchups, and if a team is consistently playing lopsided matches I'll just ask them to fix it. If they don't, I'll ban the team. The goal is to play fun games, not to win everything. Captains will submit lineups in order of best player to worst player, and they should communicate about creating an even field before doing so. Obviously this takes more time, which is one of the reasons we have a two week round.
The crime is not talking to your opponents and trying to make good matches, not being above an arbitrary mmr cap.
Teams do not have to be real.
Random is allowed. Race switching and race picking between rounds is allowed.

Will the map pool be expanded or just those maps?
If you play P during the 1vs1, do you need to play P for the 2vs2 or special event?
Personal clarification - I am just at 1800 with z right now but want to play as P or R. If I play with P/T I am well below the mmr cutoff, if I play as R there is a chance of hitting my Z. Thoughts?

Yes all events are bo3.
This is that map pool for this round, will change every round.
No you do not have to play the same race in different categories.
you must play p or t, and even then I would only expect to play when you face a team with people right on the line as well.

I was above 1800 last season, think I peaked at 1820 or 1850 but this season I cant really reach 1700, can I join in? I just want to have fun and play meme builds. maybe some random

Sounds like a really awesome initiative! I think it is funny you said "KeSPA rules apply", so if the player types ggg he is disqualified automatically? =P
