almost all these korean amateur tourneys have very low prizepool and viewership count, most of them barely even reach 50 viewers, 100 viewers if lucky...like this tourney has starbuck coupons as prizes lol. how would they ever improve without support/incentive, when current kr scene is still pretty much kespa expro worship. only 1 amateur rose to pro standard out of his own sheer will/determination (soma)

It's like foreign tournaments essentially, but actually worse because literally nobody in korea bothers watching when they can just watch the pros.

I think the design of HAMIC is creative, everybody involved, gosu and chobo make the same contribution to the team, you can’t just rely on several super stars to win.
