Thanks. actually quite the opposite seeing flash kicked out of ASL on solely the map pool (transister and third world) on transister he made an agressive play to avoid late game pvt cause its litterly #$%! on that map.. the maps where fun but designed to keep flash out of the finals and other terrans didn make it far aswell i would love to see some non crazy more balanced maps and sparkle can was fun for a bit but really no zerg wants to ever play on it again. | ||

BW is default dead (and I say this as someone who loves the game as much as anyone). We should embrace all reasonable experiments! The potential reward of stumbling upon something that revitalizes interest vastly outweighs the risk. Who knows, maybe something interesting happens in a BO7 context (like a super reverse sweep) that creates a bunch of positive press? BO7 is far from the craziest thing the scene should be trying. Even for those saying "imagine TvT BO7" -- ever watched a triple overtime game in the NBA? It's not pretty but has its own charm once in awhile. Plus, modern TvT is usually extremely dynamic and action packed. More games, more types of crazy maps (especially since players are no longer dependent on league performance to make money, so balance is less important), more experiments, more Brood War of all kinds, are all good things. | ||

Maybe learn your history before dismissing BW fans. It is not that we don't like it because it is different but because we already had that experiment in the old pro days and also in the Sonic days and it always got rolled back because the cons simply outweigh the pros. | ||
