I would greatly appreciate if anyone could give me names of old BW fan-sites. Or maybe have some stats about old PGT/WGT ladder seasons saved up
Why am I looking for this? I want to recover final standings from each PGTour/WGTour ladder season, and add some of that information to Liquipedia.
Right now I am using archive.org, and looking at saved snapshots of pgtour.net, wgtour.com, gosugamers.com, and also searching teamliquid forum. But the process is slow, and I'm unable for find any data for many seasons.
If you know of some old BW fan-sites that were active in 2001-2010 and could have had news posts about ladder seasons (season recaps, for example), please let me know. Even if they are no longer active and links are dead.
There is a Polish website that has them. I used it a couple years ago. But I can't remember the link. You might fight it on teamliquid if you search for wgt pgt wgtour pgtour.
Been down that road, especially for WGT (World Gaming Tour btw, that page should be moved). It's incredibly hard to find sources, i tried:
gosugamers teamliquid
obviously
also randomly browsed broodwar.de and reps.ru, as well as some clan pages. I think someone having a look at netwars and related polish pages would bring some good results, but I'm too stupid to read Polish things.
A list of random things I wanted to add somewhen, but haven't found much info other than what's listed is here:

this helps a lot more than the forum search. for some events at least. works on every page, the syntax is like
site:URLWITHOUTwww SEARCH
yes our website kinda died unexpectedly and we did not bring it back then. So a lot of things were not properly saved/archived. Therefore as you said it is very difficult to find anything, it s pretty sad.

In case you mistook my post as anything but a mere instruction for the OP to look for sources: sorry.
As new player to the game in early 2001 WGTour.com was literally the one portal that made me stick around and still does. So much memories. It wasn't the portal to make me organize things, yet it was the one site that gave me so much material to learn from and inspired me - espc. the auto-DL-feature. I spent sundays, thank porn site glitches for that, with a 56k Modem downloading reps. My PC was idle, but downloaded about 300 replays, nothing else. Next to Defiler.ru, WGT.com was what represented the spirit of BW in its truest form. Seriously, words can not possibly express how much I digged that page.
If nobody else did: Thank any admin involved for that. No other page was as great as WGT and its ladder. None. Neither PGT nor ICCup. It meant more to me to reach a C1 at WGT than the C+ at PGT or the equivalent (1800+?) at NeoGamei, cause the atmosphere was so much ... better.
Also, this is why I didn't start the page with only incomplete information, as it deserves nothing but the highest praises. WGT rocked so hard, so fuck any haters you had.

aha thank you
I just meant to say I remember you asking about it a while back and I tried to help you but we hardly have any data left sadly. I was just telling the op that the odds of finding things are low that is all.
