Remastered mouse speed similar to 1.16.1?

I played BW before on 6/11 windows pointer speed on 640x480 like everyone else. Which settings you need to adjust to make it feel like on old one? I experimented with various settings but all of them seem strange, different and my movements are bit choppy when I slide faster. When I go back to 1.16.1 everything seems so fine.

Should I tick "Use Mouse Scaling"? Or only "Hardware Cursor"? Or manually adjust from "Mouse sensitivity" slider ingame? And if yes with "Use Mouse Scaling" ticked or not, "Hardware Cursor" ticked or not?
Also should I run on "Fullscreen" or "Windowed Fullscreen"?

So many options lol. Maybe someone will share his screenshot?

I played around with 1.19 a lot and couldn't get it to feel like 1.16 no matter what I did, it was fixed after a while in 1.18 but whatever... With remastered 1.20 it feels a lot better, personally I use fullscreen. With 60% mouse sensitivity and the hardware cursor ticked, not using scaling. Idk if your resolution will have something to do with it, might not work for you or maybe you will have to adjust the mouse sensitivity in game.

Keep your mouse dpi the same, disable mouse sensitivity in game and enable mouse scaling. It should be the same after that.

I'm having the same issue and it's sooooo hard to multitask when you can't box in units properly to hotkey them.

IIRC 1.18 added a good option which made mouse feel similar to 1.16.1 but then they changed it on 1.19? I didn't play much around on 1.19 so can't remember, saying that Remastered could be using post 1.18 scaling. Tried 60% but not really same.

Can anyone recommend a good resolution on a 32"? It's currently at 1360x768... maybe that has to do with my mouse and actions feeling laggy?

Had problems with sensitivity ingame to the point I was really frustrated losing games vs bad players. My problems went away when using mouse scaling + mouse sensitivity checked on 50%

Also leaving fps cap and vertical sync unchecked

Older laptops still have a lot of problems as the directX support have been introduced in 1.18 but still not optimized.

I've been watching alot of pro steams.. bisu and flash both use hardware cursor and in game bw sensitivity on. Hardware cursor is meant to be more responsive from what I've been googling.

For my it's 1920 x 1080 res with logitech g1 dpi 800 or 1000ish.. mouse speed 40%.. it's all relative though. If you have a 400 DPI mouse you may prefer 55 - 60 % in game at 1920 x 1080 whatever feels comfortable.

It has taken some adjusting, I suggest keeping hardware curson on, mousce scaling off, mounse sensitivity on, vertical sync off in fullscreen mode, hopefully this helps. Took me awhile of playing around but my mouse feels pretty decent now.
