Why would Blizzard want to split their RTS player base further? Why would Blizzard want to split current UMS/Arcade community? Why would Blizzard want to drive away current SC2 players, they did a ton of work with SC2 game client and new features in LotV. Isn't coop popular now? When you think about it from this perspective, the answer is simple. BWHD might be a separate game mode in current SC2 client. Think about it. HD/16 : 9/custom keys/matchmaking ready, Arcade is not split between two games, and BWHD could use skins and announcers they are implementing. All they need to do is to make gameplay as close to BW as possible. | ||

I played sc2bw when it was a popular sc2 mod, and certain game mechanics, like control group movement, kiting with fast units, spider mine AI, reaver scarabs, the way siege tanks decide what to shoot at, how dropships load/unload, how medics decide to heal... EVERYTHING was wrong. It was still more fun to play than sc2, but the underlying game engine needs to be the original starcraft engine for BWHD to work. | ||

Money ? ;P When you think about it from this perspective, the answer is simple. BWHD might be a separate game mode in current SC2 client. Think about it. HD/16 : 9/custom keys/matchmaking ready, Arcade is not split between two games, and BWHD could use skins and announcers they are implementing. All they need to do is to make gameplay as close to BW as possible. If they would actually manage to "make BW possible" in SC2 client, i think this could have the potential to kill sc2 itself. I think a lot of people are very frustrated with LotV's current state. To be honest, i highly doubt they will do something like this, but we'll see. | ||

Tried with MCAlauncher, and others have been getting same error so far. I've seen one person getting a 'your CDKey has been disabled' error without any launcher, but she hasn't been able to get in either. Not sure if its a bug that's happening (or has been happening), or something's up. | ||
