Whether the attack sprite limit will be touched is a harder call, since many think the Valkyrie would become much stronger without the limit, though I don't think anyone has experimented with hacking the value and then reenacting battles from replays to see if the change actually affects the outcome. Would be an interesting analysis. Is valkyrie sprite issue seriously a problem in 1v1s? Besides their use is very situational - vessel/m&m is better vs clumps of mutas, the best use i've found is in TvT against wraiths where they have actually won me a game or two.Again not an ultra common scenario.

To be fair though 4 daemons was all you needed to destroy most bases lol.Ridiculously overpowered.

Yeah. During a recent ASL game (flash vs sea I think?) there were 2 wraith balls duking it out with some valks sitting around unable to shoot

But it was supposed to launch with Blizzard Dota, which became Heroes of the Storm Diablo 3 X2: Scrapped into DLC and patch content WOW TCG: Became Hearthstone Titan: Became Overwatch The only real mystery on this chart is what exactly Starcraft: Phoenix is, and we might find out in a few days. I think Phoenix was Heroes of the Storm.

I had a gay friend in uni who didn't mind us saying "gay" (to convey a negative feeling) in front of him but out of respect we never said the "f word". Obviously we tried to avoid saying either words when he was around but sometimes it just slipped. Because of the way i grew up I always felt like "gay" was more of a borderline word (when used to convey a negative feeling) but now i realize that saying it in front of a general audience is just bad judgement. When you're sitting behind your monitor by yourself it's sometimes easy to forget that you're in a community with thousands of other people who all have different views. It's best to just be respectful and avoid these types of situations. Unfortunately for 90's kids the "f word" in particular is a big part of our lexicon, the word wasn't taboo'd at the time and society didn't teach us any better. Imo a lot people from my generation are desensitized to those words just because of how commonly we used them.. to the point where they're almost hard-wired into our brains now. That being said, i think it's common sense now to avoid saying the "f word" altogether in front of a general audience (anywhere online like on twitter, threads, streams etc., goes without saying in a public setting irl). But i won't lie to you, when i'm w/ a group of close friends it's still a very commonly used word for us and i think that statement holds true for a lot of people in my age group. With time all those words will eventually get weeded out tho.. us savage 80's and 90's kids will one day turn to dust . TLDR: sorry <3 P.S: Fayth sincerely feels bad and wanted me to apologize for him. I've known the guy for a while, on the outside he's a dirty dt dropper but deep (AND I MEAN DEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEP <3 kaka) down he's a really good dude. Alright alright sorry, enough derailing. Onto more D rank banter on BW mechanics~~ ^_^ You just earned BIG respect in my book. Thank you. I also grew up during the 80's-90's, so I'll turn to dust with you bro. My childhood culture was one where people got routinely shamed and ostracized for normal shit. All those words were also part of my lexicon before I even knew what they meant. I've said the same things and it was when someone told me how it affected them that I understood the impact and decided to break the habits. I'm just trying to do the same thing that person did for me. Thanks again for keeping an open mind and discussion about it.

Actually I have to correct you (and myself), Phoenix was the Battle.net Desktop Agent (now called Blizzard App).

Suffice to say: don't be naive. This is a significant danger to the health of our entire scene and its future.

the future my good sir is exactly as it is now but later. albeit to say if this does change things the future wouldn't be as it is now. it may be worse or better who knows? that's the main question here. better or worse. what most ppl dislike is the idea of change, cause change in an almost 20 yr old game could almost certainly mean death. so the real question is change this and it dies or change this and it prospers. i for one an not willing to take this risk.

Both the current trajectory, and the history of our game which demonstrates incredible longevity, contribute to an understandably positive view of the future. Introducing changes (and, dare I say it, an untrustworthy new governing body and owner of all things who does not essentially act out of a love for the game), unquestionably threaten that current trajectory, and the conditions on which it is predicated.
