Would it be possible for Afreeca to put in someone who's knowledgable about Brood War to co-cast with Artosis? I have nothing against Rapid, but he seems a bit ill-equipped to cocast this tourney. I'm sure there's a fair number of english speakers who would be better versed in the game.
As for Rapid himself, I love the effort and passion he's putting into his casts. That said, I would recommend he stick with more play-by-play and questions rather than trying to analyze. I have a feeling he's been trying to do this and it's tough to stick with that for 5 games. But stuff like, "Looks like player A is moving in with his forces, and here's a big fight, blah blah, it looks like player B has won the engagement. What do you think the game position is now Artosis?"would be great.
Actually, I don't mind analyzing at all if he puts it in the form of a question. Something like "So from what I'm getting, it appears that Player A is ahead because of the engagement he won there. Is that enough to push the game in his favour or does Player B still have the edge?" There, you have an opportunity to add in opinion and at the same time, let Artosis chime in and clarify the situation. I think that would be amazing.
I totally understand the accommodation for SC2 viewers. I have no problems with that. It's a tad annoying for those familiar with BW but eh, it's manageable.
Again, I love the effort and passion. Keep at it.
As for the name Eyewater, he clarified why he uses it in the last ASL's champion interview. After hearing why he uses it, I think it's great.
I think if there was a better English speaking caster for Brood War in Korea we would have already heard of him. And the community would have already demanded him to cast. So no I think it's just Tastosis + Rapid as sub.

Yeah, what? BisuDagger is doing a much better job atm. He is far from perfect but yeah, he is a lot better. As it is, they even canceled him out for Tastosis in the ASL finals in the last second. So no, they only go with name recognition and availability instead of skill.

Sorry! I actually didn't know that BisuDagger is living in Korea. Yeah then I don't understand why they don't give him a chance.

I don't understand this statement on top of the OP. "All spoilers must be in spoiler tags! Spoilers can be named after the group to help direct discussion. Refusal to follow this can result in a warning and/or ban!"
But still the results are displayed in the OP in one scroll down away?

bisudagger living in korea? lol. he has a really good job in america and won't relocate to korea.
if it was up to me, i'd move back to korea and cast bw full-time, but there's just a lot of minor things that i won't elaborate on that makes it worth doing at this current time.

Honest question here because I'm not sure if I understand the point you've made. You said:
they only go with name recognition and availability instead of skill. I obviously understand your point about name recognition. You think BD is a better caster than them and they only cast because, they're well known and get the viewers. I get that.
But I'm not sure about the "availability over skill" aspect of the quote. You say it like it's some kind of injustice to BD that he can't cast directly from the studio. The whole discussion was about finding another caster who can cast directly from the studio in Korea and I said there are probably no other English casters currently in Korea. Then you started talking about BD and how he is better than them and should cast. I don't get what you mean with "availability over skill" as if it's something unfair in this context. How can they dismiss availability if they need to find a caster who is either already living in Korea or willing to go to Korea.

I'm in Seoul and would like to attend day 3 in person. I saw that the games start at 7pm local time. Does anyone know what time I should try to show up there to be able to get a decent seat?
