Yes, I can confirm that. I was lucky and already played ~20 games on SB (which mostly were like a session of 5-7 games in a row, so eventually not that many... it usually is hard to get games). Hopefully the next wave will come soon
I've been able to play on 2 out of the 3 times that I've logged on so far; I think it's largely a timezone thing. I feel like the majority of the current user base is active in the EST evenings. I wonder if timezones were considered when sending invites? Because if someone is say playing from Russia in the afternoon, I could see how there could be a dearth of games.

I think there should be push notifications or something. Many times, I ask for a game, then no one replies, so I do other stuffs in my browser and forget about it. When I go back to SB, someone else has done the same thing and somehow we miss each other.
Audio cues and notifications are going to be implemented (eventually), tec27 confirmed this in SB chat when I asked him. As was mentioned before, right now they are focusing on making sure that it works for all user variables (like OS).
Judging by the things im seeing here, the project is in its very early stage. A bit surprising to me. By the announcement i thought there is a great huge thing ready to attack in a month or two (the open beta). I guess il have to wait a bit more to be able to taste and enjoy.

Not really, I think they already did at least 80% of the work. I wouldn't call that very early stage.
is there someone who will do a review of SB? i really want to know the first thoughts and if this is legit good. I know it's legit but I want to know if it's as good as the claims made on the OP. So excited. Can someone do a video review?

I mean, you can read the thread and see the videos/streams already posted. You can also read the thread and see that it doesn't have many features as of yet - there is no matchmaking, no friends list, no whisper, no audio cues, no UMS, only pre-set maps, no obs mode. Other than that, I have had 0 problems with hosting and connecting to other players (besides the time that my Firefox was taking up too much memory). How do you expect people to write an informed review on a service that's not out of beta?
I really hope there are players on the server when it's public and auto matchmaking works, I've been disappointed by these sorts of promises before. I would play bw if I could find a match easily and play other noobs, it's just such a challenge to get the game working on windows 10 as is.

Believe me, they're working on that. It's a great thing that SB is working fine with for all beta testers. There are only some minor individual issues, so far I have heard of and talked to the admins. Trust the SB staff, they have done and are doing some great work

Seconded. I am so hype. Even the rudimentary SB we have in beta is super promising. Full faith in SB staff here.

This to me is the most genius thing of all. Once audio cues work their way into it, I don't see how I will ever not have SB loaded and ready to play if someone messages me or a friend hosts a pub game. It might be terrible for my productivity at work and with school, but I already have clients loaded while doing those things so it would only be a matter of insane convenience ^^
