it's an invite tournament for progamers to give them seeds in a later tournament, for those who don't know

pop....put it this way, imagine a player like jinnam being eliminated in the first round of a preliminary tournament
that makes a lot more sense wax

it gives them seeds for a later tourney that will include ppl from the online prelim, and maybe a 2nd offline pro prelim, not sure ;p

It would be great PR for Orion team and himself to prove that the ledgend still knows how to put up a fight!

Boxer should have a free ride into the actual competition. He was last years champion and thus doesn't have to go through the prelims.

no, he said the list wasnt reliable, indicating he expected to see boxer on that list. if it was already confirmed that boxer ISNT competing, then how can he expect boxer to be on the list?

You guys ask what happened? well the WCG commity or whatever decided the previous champion won't get an "auto seed" into the WCG grand finals. That means Boxer has to re-qualify for it. But it pissed him off so he's boycotting.

I would not boycotte anything that I can win like 20k at. Then again I have no morals really...

NaDa will make WCG look great, if not better than Boxer. NaDa should make it in and if he does.. I am thoroughly going to enjoy this years WCG even more so than last years. I would like to see NaDa vs FroZ T v T. If froz could get his T v T back into its prime.

I heard that boxer's reason for not participating is so that other pro-gamers can have a chance, since he already won 2 years in a row? Is this a bullshit excuse to cover up the fact that he's pissed off about not getting an auto-seed?
