it's FOTY(flavour of the years lol).
Before SCBW esport fall they were like 10+ different map per year :/
ya no doubt. I mostly see fighting spirit and python on iccup and I can safely say that 98% of my games on iccup have been on fighting spirit lol. I've played like 7 on python at best XD
If you can host, it usally isn't a problem. I think 45% of my games were on FS, but 34% were on Wind & Cloud because of DRTL and it kept becoming motw. Now with new season, I can ladder with CB a bunch.

He really runs away from scourge if there are more than one or two. I thought he would take more of those fights now and again. He also makes a TON of corsairs.

Even when there were different maps every season, this did not change that FS/Python were the most popular. In my opinion this is not an absolutely terrible thing - chess is always played on the same board, for example.
well yes of course but maps change the strategy used in each game which is why playing other maps than FS is a good idea. Island maps though, those make for bizzare games lol. There was a Sea vs Shuttle BO3 that was for 1500 balloons or so and the maps were all really odd island maps. Sea ends up winning 2-1 but seeing mass shuttle/reavers against mass dropships with goliaths/tanks was exhilarating. Sea almost lost the last game but he managed to survive and used map architecture to his advantage to win. That to me is why I would like to see more maps other than FS
I can agree with that, seeing as I personally love playing island/weird maps ^^ What I'm trying to say is that I'd still prefer to see 90% FS games, because the highest skill players should play on the most even maps. Being a more gimmicky player should not be rewarded the majority of the time due to 10 maps sharing equal playtime (I doubt this was ever the case though), as the poster you responded to suggests.
ok fair enough. You make a good point. Gimmicky shouldn't be rewarded but you need some gimmicky/cheesy/all-in etc... play and ya, I doubt maps share equal playtime
And remember... Bisu had a huge slump and then he suddenly met FS where he regained his confidence.... he calls it his favorite map, and in interviews he said he was sad when it was taken out of the map pool...
FS was so balanced that even people sent to snipe Bisu wouldn't be able to match up with him mechanically... It's where he got his confidence back after some time of relative mediocrity~
hmm fair enough. It is getting a bit tiresome to see FS tiles over and over again though lol.

ya umm, that's the other side of the story I forgot to mention. 90% of my games were hosted by me on FS XD

Bisu also likes to watch his replays and talk about the games. I'll be uploading these in hope that someone cares enough to provide a translation or that I'm eventually comfortable enough translating these myself. I'll upload some more from today's stream tomorrow.
I might do a few translations if you want and if I have the time..
That would be great. I'll try uploading some more I find, so if you like a specific replay vod (it's a good game and insightful/funny analysis etc.) just let me know. I can add the subs at least so you don't have to do that.

Thank you. I haven't enjoyed watching StarCraft this much since...well, the last OSL, I guess.
Thank you for all your work Stratos! Are you uploading all games (apart from insta DT wins) or there are still some to be found in twitch videos? Wanna watch them all

I try to upload all but if you really want to make sure and go back to check (I believe Bisu was always restreamed on snipealot2) then go ahead, it's entirely possible I missed a few hour session of him playing some games, I'd be happy to fix that.

If Flash comes to Afreeca, even fewer people will be watching the other player's streams, which means no money for them. The rest of TBLS should stay away from Afreeca streaming, 1 member is bad enough. They don't need the money.
