There is no difference between this and ASL,why ASL is allowed and ASTL not? There is so many questions to answer and since Artosis got LOT of money via Patreon it would be nice from him to come to this thread and give community some answers since most of us donate him and Nick money via patreon. | ||

you could ask Cruiser who runs the channel. Cruiser posted a long note on his Youtube about his viewership being so low he might be forced to stop doing StarCast. I don't think anyone in the foreign scene has any leverage at all right now, unfortunately. | ||

i played against that name on ladder and usually if i play someone that's streaming i try to look at the stream because i want to know what the fpvod vs me looks like | ||

He found a formula, a niche, a persona that makes him money. He does this for money, because what else would he do? He isn't skilled enough to win or even participate in high level tours. So how can he make money in Brood War? By being a clown basically. People pay for the show and he performs. The fact that it is probably bad for him or bad for noobies who take his words as gospel, is all secondary to the fact that he needs to put food on the table, and I understand that. | ||

it would be incredibly difficult to keep up the 12 yr old raging spoilt brat persona throughout the entirety of the stream and make it as genuine as it is if it were all an act. that level of acting would be too mentally taxing, although it would be very impressive acting skill. | ||
