I always try space-bar if I want to go back to my base or if I'm under attack, but this is not always very efficient. Although it's easy to use and it doesn't always work well in hectic situations. I've tried to use a bind to my cc, but in the heat of battle i resort back to good 'ol space ^_^ anyway....

..I was wondering, top koreans often use a bind to a building to go back to their base. Do they also use the space-bar? I've read some posts in the past that you shouldn't use space. Any thoughts/advice? S;-)

I can't remember if any Koreans do it, but I remember reading a lot of foreigners swear by it.

I don't use it because it's too unreliable, like an attack or hatch just before I push it. I just double press 5, which my main hatch hotkey. I suppose for toss/terran it'd be one of the f# keys, or a gate/fact would work, or just mini-map+quick mouse ^^

But I'm not a top korean so I guess it doesn't really answer your question

I use it in warcraft3. But it does something else, brings you back to your last location in your base.

Spacebar is not a game action, therefor not saved in replay.
The same goes for f2 f3 f4.

I use nexus 4 and gates 5 6 8 90 no not 7 thats my shuttle but

i use space...force of habit..but about 40% of the time it brings me to some weird places i didnt want to be..so i either had to click mini map or double press my hotkey for main.

I use it allot, usually rest my thumb on it. It helps me not leave idle scv's, know when a buildings done, zoom to where im under attack..etc. Probably the only time I don't use it often is when large attacks are going on.

Fkeys are most efficient but stubby-fingered Americans can never get used to using them

double-tapping a hotkeyed building is second best way

spacebar is only good for Nuclear Launch Detected, assuming that actually works
