Ohana and Cloud Kingdom, good maps (made by ICCUP, in fact). Entombed is a Blizzard map, but it's one of their good ones, despite looking kinda ugly.
Noteworthy: No GSL-made maps in OGN proleague. Hmmmm....
They were not made by ICCUP dude...
Also, WTF!!!!!!! No Daybreak?!?!?!?!
They were, actually. Once they lost their sponsors, the iCCup mapmaking team renamed themselves to ESV.
Lost their sponsors? The map making team was never supported by ICCUP in anything but reputation, the same with ICCUPtv. (Which never even saw any of its own ad revenue).
I would say they are much better supported as ESV then they ever were under the ICCUP banner; Twitch.tv, TTeSports.
And while the Map making teams are very similar (still led by prodiG <3) They have picked up some very talented people in the last year, korean and foreigner alike.
I remember them saying they were sponsored by someone, but lost their sponsorship and chose to rename themselves. Ask Diamond if you really want to know, he posts here quite a lot.
I don't know how this got here, but just so the thread can move along.
ESV was originally formed under iCCup. After something like I think 13 months with 0 financial support (well they did buy one program one time), next to no promotional support, and a community that actively HATED SC2, we left and formed ESV.
I own ESV TV (and the ESV Mapmaking Team) and moving away from iCCup was the single greatest move I made for our company. No more red tape from people that don't understand broadcasting or SC2, and also now I actually own the company I run, where before iCCup was a majority owner despite offering us nothing or having any interaction with iCCup TV at all.
Hope that clears that up so the BW vs. SC2 debate can continue !
Lee Jae Gyun (Stars): Like STX, there are rumors that we are the best [at sc2] and they are true. We gave up our team workshop and prepared a lot, so there won't be any elimination based on points. We will win the championship through pure skill. Keep an eye on us.
STARS FIGHTING!!!!!!!!!!!
DAT CONFIDENCE! Hell yeah!
SOULKEY AND ZERO SC2 BONJWA TIME!!!
Edit: I just realized that SC2 TvP is Bio-oriented.
Light (Stars): Because of hybrid sc1/2 it will be a tough season, but if we will all try hard and achieve good results. There won't be any missing out on the post-season because of points.
Light, you are our Terran savior now!
Woongjin Terrans thrive in SC2 apparently (MVP and Supernova ), so this'll be ezpz for the Stars!

you know its been almost an year since that article was written...
This is messed up, but I guess it was always going to be messed up right from the beginning with the idea of having both games in the league...The only bright side being I don't have to wait to watch BW. I can't believe they chose SC2 as the ace match... Really disappointed.
I guess this is one of the last few chances I'll give SC2 a fair shot, if BW progamers can't make this game exciting to watch and make me feel like playing it, nothing will.

Imagine what the LR-threads will be like. XD
It's been talked about before, I think the solution was to have separate LR threads to stem the BW vs SC2 stuff. So people who like whichever game better should stay on their side. Don't know if that's still a go or not.

Even longer, but I know what you mean. Ver withheld it because of the scandal.

Flash (Rolster): I've become immersed in SC2 and play the game until 3-4 in the morning. It feels like when I first played SC1. I'll work hard so I can show everyone better games.
this is just so good to hear. So excited for this omfgggg.

Not only that, it also solves the LR thread problems. Remember when MBC was still around()? 2 games run simultaneously and when one is done, everyone from the finished match's lr thread will go to the other. We can have two LR threads on different forums but BW games will be LRed in the LR thread in the BW section and after that, others will call it a day, while some will go to the SC2 section LR thread where the rest of the games are LRed. Results should be updated in both threads.

uhhh I thought since it was still BW teams all of it would be in the BW forums..
Flash: In my heart, I'd love to catch up in three months, but realistically I think it will take a year. If I want to reach my SC1 level of skill, I think it will take 2~3 years.
