one thing that irritated the hell out of me is when you continued to build probes for the last mineral line left on the map, even though you had more than enough probes mining it.

that was cute how you built a nexus next to the geyser for 500 gas that you didn't need. You could have used those 400 mins a better way.
Human teleportation, molecular decimation, breakdown and reformation is inherently purging. It makes a man acute.

I too thought spending 600 mineral (nex, assim, pylon) to get 500 gas was odd given that your last minerals were about to be mined out and you were already mining from TWO geysers. At worst why not make the assim and use your 30 or so useless probes to mine the gas across the map ^^;

Was nice game though. I've had a few 2v2 games that were so close like that and they are AWESOME to play and watch. Pimp Plays often showcases various kinds of mineout games because it's a totally different ballgame when you have no way to keep the money flowing.

Knowing the result, it's ez to say that.

But in that situation he had like 500 gas and 1k or so minerals. At that point of the game time was more important to them. Should they know the outcome of the game they would have probably saved their minerals.

And yea, progamers leave their minerals mostly on purpose. Because they KNOW that if you save minerals, they won't accidentally use them, thus letting them make something that they might need. Like this game.

The game itself was quite intertaining, especially with Penguin Plug. Hillarious comments. I love how at 3, the CC was trapped between a good on the little patch of land, and the goliath at the min-only clif. The CC moves an inch lower and the Gol hits it. It moves half a millimeter above and goes out of gol range, but JUST BARELY goes into the goon's range.

I totally remember that last part you were describing...oh god.

Even better was at 9, when I didn't know if I could drop on that ledge below the minonly...I finally do, and I tell the goon to start shooting at the building, and after an eternity it finally does. XD

Please, progamers do not leave patches in their main "just in case", they take them away because its inefficient to have 8-10 workers mining on those last remaining 4-5 patches. They expand aggressively, and if they can't they have already lost the game. It is only once in a blue moon will there actually be a game where it actually comes down to the final minerals, and often that type of situation can be avoided with better play.

HAppened to me in 2v2 also but in lost temple. Me and my partner didn't have cash to make wraiths/cors. Stupid that in lt u can fly away and beyond goon/goliath range!!!! sux ass

I guess I just leave one lonely worker to finish off the remainder of the patches when there are already some that have disappeared. I do this because it's too likely that they'll remain idle for too long afterwards, and that's worse than the small amount of extra mining I get from having more workers there.
