elky was elkyaj, or elkyahj or elkyajh. dont remember which.
and i think fish eye could be something related to a fish eye lense used with video camera's. they sort of see everything, could be that he is expressing how observent of a person he is :\
i got a couple
why reach? such a weird verb to have ur name as.
why blackman? got a thing for african people?
what the hell is arang? it sure does sound nifty.
suker ( maybe he likes to suck the cack? ), smurf?
i've also wondered what NTT stood for, and what happened to that biatch.

I think 'giving someone a fisheye' is some kind of shady sexual move which I won't explain here. :D
And learn some French, "jetaimemina" means "I love you, Mina". :D
And to the guy above me, 'NTT' sounds like 'entity' when you say it out loud, it's that simple. :O

arang is love i thought elky came from alcohol NTT is entity
as for smuft: http://www.teamareola.com/interviews/smuftInterview.php "teamareola.com: Where does "Smuft" come from?
Smuft: When Slayer, Sven, NTT, myself and a few others joined [iDEF], my ID was [iDEF]Smurf. Some of the koreans I was playing with at the time called me 'smuft' because they could not find 'r' on their keyboard. So I made it easier for them and changed. I also discovered..."

They can't find 'r' on their keyboard???? What??? 1 finger typing gogo?

i never seen a korean keyboard and i doubt u have too so u really shouldnt assume at how hard it is to find the r key on a korean keyboard.
as for smuft, i had read his nick in my mind as smurft up until this point.
wow.

Well, it should be that those Koreans didn't know how to spell 'Smurf'. Guess that's all. Smurf and Smuft looks similar.
Btw, Sarang is love. Arang is a character who comes out in Korean legend thingy.

Isn't Elky short for Elkantar, I think he was even mentioned in some report by Grrrr... many years ago when Grrrr... visited France for some tourney. I think it was mentioned that Grrrr went into Elky's base with a few unsieged tanks and killed him or something like that
And Smuft was LustedSmurf before or am I wrong?
And I REALLY don't think that progamers get their names in a different way than any other player

Slayers Boxer means First Contender if no one said it already(not reading these)

We all know that Slayer was a great player back in the day.
Boxer's old name was gonia.
One day, gonia fought "Slayer" in a boxing match.
CONCLUSION: gonia changes name to Boxer.
kthx
Wrong, I will give you the definition that Lim yo hwan gave himself on the Dvd he released, I'm saying this from memory, but I saw it only 2 days ago.
At first Lim Yo Hwan was part of large clan, it started with a 'P', something like POS, and they had a sub-section of the clan that was _Boxer. When he started to become and good player he decided that he needed a fierce name, and he looked for a bunch of fierce english words and came upon the word Slayers, then he talks about what it means translated into Korean and he liked it so therefore he is Slayers_`Boxer` not because he defeated the pro named slayers - _-;; wtf you people getting your information from.

afaik there's no such thing as a korean keyboard, they use exactly the same ones as foreigners do.
|
its not interesting because they get it any differently, its interesting because they are sick at bw, and now that they've become something what their name stands for means more to others than it did before. oh hell no u cant hold me back no more, its time to bust out with the abstract metaphor, what was i waiting for? all i needed was the feel but for real what the hell am i talking about?
twas a poet and i didnt even know of it!
excuse me, xellos and julyzerg are good examples that a gamers name dont mean jack, and there is no real value given to it besides the value needed to use it for proper identification.

well, i lived in turkey for 4 years and they use the roman alphabet for literature, and in turkey they do not have the same keyboards as they do here. (edit, i live in the US)
there are extra letters in the alphabet, and the same applies to korean, they may not have r in the roman writing style of their language. this should be taken as an example, not an assumption please.

large room,many typewriters,many monkeys

SLayerS_ was a clan tag.
In China, late 1800s early 1900s, there was a group of people called The Fists of Righteous Harmony, that were known to foreigners as "Boxers" because they practiced martial arts.

Elkantar shortened his name to Elky.
Rekrul once went by the ID "][_urker" then hit puberty and decided that was retarded, so he spelt lurker backwards.
Grrr.... chose his name because that's how he felt whenever he lost a game. Oddly enough, it's pronounced differently all over the world, and in Korea it sounds less like an angry animal and more like the Xena warcry.

In Japanese it means steal, is this possible?
I don't know abot Terato though.
Terrato was a Titan (Earth elemental) in Final Fantasy VI, although according to Google there is also a Terrato in Pokemon.
Eji..I think it's a Japanese word.
I couldn't find anything on it.
