4000 dollars is not a small amount by any reckoning (unless you're warren buffett or something like that). median household income in america was $46000, so we're talking about 9% of an average family's income.

yeah you guys are probably right that game was most likely due to flash's ridiculous macro rather than type-b doing anything to throw the game away at first i thought it was because type-b's last 3 games vs terran were 2 wins over fantasy and a loss to hwasin so getting raped as badly as he did had to have been previously contrived. i forgot exactly how dominant flash was.
also, looking at the rest of type-b's other matches, it seems that he was doing pretty poorly.

Glad you took that off there, as that's one of the matches I always refer to in order to show just how sick Flash's macro is (and how strong 2base Terran can be in TvZ). The only cheating involved in this game was oov-style cheating up armies. Do those lights on the rax ever go off? Have you ever seen that many marines off 2 base? Absolutely sick play, haha.
