Only the first letter of the last name is given, along with the date and the league. But if you go back and look at the dates and the players who played on that date, it's not that difficult to figure it out. It's not a comprehensive list and it is based on educated guesses.

All the money conversions were made with the assumption that 1000 won is equal to a dollar. Right now, 1 dollar is 1130 won but in 2009, 1 dollar was around 1300 won and in 2007, 1 dollar was about 900 won.
I just read the article that TL put out with the newest and apparently confirmed information. I'm very saddened by this. I guess it's perfect timing for SC2 because this really deals a huge blow to ESPORTS in Korea (or I would have to assume). Makes me mad to think I had watched some of those games probably hoping some of the other players would win, but inf act they were throwing their matches for some cash.
All of the luxury games looked rigged anyways, same with the Hwasin games. Luxury is a guy that went from MSL Champ 2nd best ZvZer to 2-9 ZvZ in PL into randomly 2-0ing Calm who just won his all Z MSL. His playstyle and all ins always looked really ...bad. This is disgusting. Any news on the Savior rigged games?

yeah you guys are probably right that game was most likely due to flash's ridiculous macro rather than type-b doing anything to throw the game away at first i thought it was because type-b's last 3 games vs terran were 2 wins over fantasy and a loss to hwasin so getting raped as badly as he did had to have been previously contrived. i forgot exactly how dominant flash was.
also, looking at the rest of type-b's other matches, it seems that he was doing pretty poorly.

it's not because of that. it's because snow is a relatively new player. even though his pvt is his best matchup and he's had many victories over excellent players lately, you usually want to send your best player in the ace matchup. they knew that kt would send flash and effort beat him already in set one so flash would have been at a psychological disadvantage from the beginning. the obvious choice would have been to send out effort or skyhigh (since skyhigh is very good at tvt and beat flash when he was on that ridiculous 15-0 tvt tear before losing to really on match point) so flash wouldn't have been prepared to face snow.

6000 dollars for a week's worth of phoning it in in practice isn't a bad deal. Money talks always has and always will. You're naive to think that someone is immune to it and that the most obvious and confirmed player wouldn't do it because you like him.
Despite what you may think, Savior didn't win that much money during his domination -- and he probably wanted to continue to make atleast that much money afterwards, therefore match rigging is the best way.

i don't think so, quite a number of those pretty much confirmed for throwing games were earning quite a decent salary such as hwasin and savior. if anything its because of their greed and how easy it is to earn cash like savior did.
even if you payed savior $1,000,000 a year, he'd still probably throw games to buy his gucci manbag or his really tasteless designer watch.

Lots of professional athletes have been caught up in betting scandals and they train just as hard as progamers and get paid a lot more too. Your argument holds no weight.
Also as others pointed out, some matches are worth more than others, and there's a lot of matches where losing isn't going to cost the player anything.

I'm sure a lot of progammers are going to retire not just Luxury due to the scandal. Type-B for example said he was going to the army and I doubt he'll go on Ace. Luxury just seems to have gotten kicked out instead of being able to quit.
