My guess is that he may have been gambling some of that high salary away and perhaps (just conjecture) that's how he ended up working for these brokers/gangsters, to pay off some debts, if not to make more money to gamble away.

I'm sure a lot of progammers are going to retire not just Luxury due to the scandal. Type-B for example said he was going to the army and I doubt he'll go on Ace. Luxury just seems to have gotten kicked out instead of being able to quit.

Not as severe as Savior or Justin, meaning he probably won't get a jail sentence (suspended or otherwise).
But IMO Hwasin's contract will be terminated. It would be very bad for STX's image if they keep him around, not to mention team morale.

I'm surprised how much heat go.go is getting while Calm, Kal and Hwasin, who probably were in it just as much, aren't getting as much attention. Especially Calm. This is #3 on the Kespa ranking and former MSL champion, throwing games and giving away his strategies in the chat before the actual game! He had a game vs. Jaedong yesterday while Hwasin is out of the team!? Explain yourself STX.

it was just a little effort meant to put together a list of suspicious games for those that were curious and wanted to watch them together and see how gamers play when they're trying to throw games.
also, apparently netizens think type-b vs flash was thrown as well, although flash would have probably dominated that one anyway.

Sigh. This is all sad. I hope the thing about Upmagic isn't true... he's awesome! However if it turns out to be true it would at least explain why he isn't playing to his potential. He's much better than his results show.
