I still haven't really seen an answer to: do any tech people know of ANYTHING out there which allows someone to record a cam stream (say from michelle to me) then play it back using MSN as if it were a normal cam? Sounds completely impossible to me. Though I know some crazy stuff can be done with msn and such. | ||

Either way - if we're being serious - I'm under the impression she is lying. Which is a shame, because I think if she told the truth and just said yeah I did these things everything would be a lot easier. So, in the end you have two decisions in my mind: 1) You can forgive her, tell her so, and maybe ease your mind about the whole e-cheating.com business. This is reasonable, but as someone said previously, you have to forgive her otherwise you're just playing games with yourself, and it'll hurt later. This is a risky business, but it can be fulfilling if you really believe you have something. (Particularly in real life... because if marriage is your end goal, I don't think you do that in a terminal, real life is actually very important here) 2) You can leave becasue she betrayed you and you thought she was worth more than that, and your foundation isn't strong enough to actually have stuff like this go on. This is equally reasonable. A lot of people choose choice A because it delays the heartbreak and might save things. Based on her crazy reaction either she's a good actor or she's definitely upset. Her parents never seeing her cry is weird, but I'll sweep that under the rug (I'm guessing they meant past maturity Inc lol). But choosing this isn't a bad way to go either... if anything, all it means is there is another e-fish in the internet pond that you need to find... or one in real life. Whichever you prefer. As for the rest, I REALLY don't think she had a friend come over and like cyber sex some random guys on her computer. I REALLY don't. I also really don't think anyone can forget that junk, so the mind suppression thing seems like a weak excuse to me (basically one of those things you tell yourself to ease your mind when you have a huge faith in someone). You have the chat logs, how much of it is complete? Did she break down in the middle? Or did she finish what she was doing. How long did their relationships last? ETc. These are good indicators that a) NOT A FRIEND, and b) NOT TRAUMATIZED TO FORGET. Lastly, I don't understand the point that a ton of people have brought up here, and that is, why were you snooping on her computer in the first place? What was the just cause of that? If there is one, I think you should be rethinking the entire business, because you're not telling us the entire story... so... Option B sounds cleaner than Option A. But really, bottom line, the decision is yours and is none of ours to make. Your heart probably already knows what's actually right to begin with. Edit: If this is actually authentic, and I hope so, this post isn't as awkward.  Otherwise, I just got rocked haha. | ||

Maybe she has a twin that you don't know about, and this Amanda character set up the twin to talk to your best friend. In fact, the twin might even be dead, and this Amanda character channeled the twin's spirit into her body. Your best friend, not knowing of the existence of this twin, thought he was actually talking to Michelle. This explains all of the contradictions: a) The evidence that she talked to a couple of guys. It was indeed her twin, and you can't tell them apart via a camera b) Michelle not knowing anything about those convos I'm not sure how Amanda factors into this, but my explanation explains everything. Ultimately it doesn't matter either way. You've been given a guilt free excuse to get out of that relationship and try and find an equally stimulating one in the same continent. Take it. It's not like you'll ever be able to trust her again anyway, especially given the distance. That said, if you're staying there for a bit because of your plane then wait it out because hotels are a lot of effort. Also when you leave it'd be useful to burn your bridges to avoid regressing so I recommend you say you believe her, engage in a lot of rough guilt sex and then leave a note saying it's over when you go. Also <3 inc. | ||

Here is the punchline though: You took the internet relationship to the furthest reaches.. beyond cyber sex or amazon.com purchases delivered to her door.. you bought a ticket to go visit a person you know is real because the webcam told you so. You hip-thrusted at logic and said "damn it, I am a man, and this world is my playground." You got out of your parents basement and ventured across the pond to bring this relationship past type based sex and web cam kissy faces... you saw her. And what does she do? Her computer (after some extensive searching) reveals chat logs with 2 men. TWO men from your very country ONE of which is your "best friend." Wow. That bitch? After all those movies you guys watched together and commented on via skype. After all those fucking MSN conversations.. you even changed your wallpaper for her. She turns around and engages in internet adultery. She probably fucking sent him the same emoticons... Heres what we do buddy.. does the technology exist to get a webcam to record information that had already been shown? No. Not yet. Would a lie detector test be a bit much? Yes. But people probably said that about you flying to America to meet a girl you had never actually met in person... and that didn't stop you did it? Tell her if she really loves you she will rig up a mobile webcam / wifi connection and march herself to the local lie detector test place and have on taken with 2 witnesses (internet or real) and have the results streamed live to your desktop. If she passes this crisis can be averted and in fact she has an evil friend who went through the necessary steps to hack mischy's desktop to fake conversations with 2 men to spite her..
