you are in no position to judge me, you do not know what it's like to be me. I don't enjoy going back to poker over and over, it's not something I like to do. For the last 2 years or so I haven't be doing it for me. yes I do bitch quite often like a baby. yes I feel like an idiot after I read it sometimes but I am only human.
you're slightly mentally derranged, which is great sometimes and bad sometimes. in the case of poker it's really bad.
man up, become a mad scientist or something

i'm not judging you, i'm responding to your blog post
when you blog and whine about your 'misfortune' you can't expect people to walk in and be like 'ohhh that sucks u can do it man!'
No, you can't do it...as you've proven time and time again. Obviously you suck at poker if you can't win at it. It's as simple as that....I don't know what you're telling yourself or what others tell you but it's a fact.
I don't even care, I like you totally, I have no negative feeling whatsoever when I think about you even in light of you being a complete degen (cause i'm a bigger degen than you). I just can't sit back when I see some crybaby whiner blog post okay? It brings out the asshole in me.
I'm only human.

Obviously starting Poker was a bad decision, so if you recognize the problem, the logical solution is to quit.
Often people flee from a bad situation by embracing a worse one, and that comes immediately to mind when I read this topic, even though I am not certain what your intentions are. When you began poker you were certainly operating under illusions of easy profit; itself a hazardous notion, since it is symptomatic of self-weariness and ends in the stagnation of character.
At any rate it has obviously done little to profit either your pockets or your peace of mind, which presents you with the desperate choice of again looking for easy solutions, or honest ones. Mortgaging your conscience or self-dignity against what is a temporal problem can only invoke losses at much higher stakes than what has already been gambled away.

My dear NoobsofWrath,
in fifty or so years we will grow weak and die. Time is therefore a scarce commodity which must be used sagaciously to redeem our existence. Can you in good conscience advocate to a man in the bloom of his life to live beneath himself? Or to reduce himself to a parasite, prospering only by plaguing healthy, producing organisms? For that is the life of the successful poker player. And what has he achieved for himself? He has for all his work invested nothing in his own education, wisdom, conscience or virtue. His gain in happiness is fleeting, while the misery of those he ruins (such as our unfortunate friend) may be enduring. A tall thing to be doing when the good years are so short!

About porn. Why are people talking as though its so easy to get into? Do you guys know something I don't? Where would a stapping young man like myself go to get into his first porno?

You might have to move to LA, though, and I'm guessing the pay for the average male actor is complete shit.
WRT the topic at hand: why on earth does Travis get the poker icon if he's struggling to make a living at 50NL? I assumed he was some sort of high roller. 50NL is like, peanuts in the poker world. There's sooooo many good poker players on this site, it's insane.

because over a 5 year period the limits someone is playing can change. *gasp* anyways the icon is mine, not "the best poker player's", so don't be an asshole.

Ok, now if you consider abandoning poker, what are your options in the working environment? What school did you last go to? What do you think of the idea of getting a part-time job to cover some of your bills while trying to build up your BR again?
