Ok so... this is a sensitive issue.
Well, my buddy/roommate is living with me. We both play poker. I take adderall. I take it for adhd. he used to. he no longer does.
i really need these meds, they are important for my day to day life.
anyways i notice today he's been playing poker nonstop for like 12 hours. and he hasn't ate anything. basically it's like he's on adderall. and i know he's stolen one or more from me before (years ago though).
so anyways i check my bottle of adderall capsules to see how many i have and i notice that at least a couple of them are missing a substantial amount of medication beads from within the capsules. (you can open up the capsules and pour some of the beads out and then close them again).
now... it would be hard but i would confront him asking about it. but the fact is, im like 90% sure he would just lie even if he did take them. so what do i do...

Catch him doing it, or put a note inside the botte letting anyone who opens it know you're on to them.

since you have no hard evidence, and you don't want to confront him and make a bad situation between you two. Why not just forget it, but hide the drug in the future?

You cant do anything about the med already stolen, buy a box and lock the meds, end of problem. I have lived with friends and theres not too much to do when things start this way because you dont trust him anyways.

I just don't understand why he would do it when he could go see a doctor and get them prescribed to him.

I honestly think putting a little note in your bottle is the best way to go for now, as ridiculous as it sounds, lol.
Otherwise, just keep a tighter watch on your pills.

This doesnt work well, hidding your stuff is like pretending the problem never existed. Using a locked box accomplish 2 things: you save your meds and you send a big "wtf dont steal to me" message to his friend without going into the actual conversation if he took them wich is pointless.

You can either hide them, and risk him searching your shit, or you can confront him. Confrontation doesn't have to be a huge deal though. Just rationally show him what is missing, and tell him your suspicions. If he is a man about it, he will apologize and come clean, and problem solved. If he gets offended, show him the door, since you don't want to live with a liar anyway.

If he denies it, end the conversation there. He probably won't take any after that now that he knows you know something's up.
If he admits it, take the opportunity to press the issue. Tell him you feel disrespected.

Yo look I don't got much advice for you besides confronting him. Either stop using addey or either chop up some bullshit and hide your own shit. When I say some bullshit I mean some exlax or either aspirin. Yes I know he might notice but hide your shit. He has a problem. His problem leads to your supply. Take care of your supply. I don't know what else to say to you. Fuck with his ass. Even though I have (edit)read your stuff you posted on the high thread I haven't seen or read where you are from. I know you make your living in a certain way but I have no other way to get to the point. Maybe you can understand what I'm saying since im sorta drunk. It is midnight central time.
