I'm really interested in this too, as to what program you use and how you relay it to a server to be broadcast as a live stream.

If you don't have one, you can emulate having one with this driver: http://www.hmelyoff.com/index.php?section=4 Then you can use a couple tools to stream to the web, I used Windows Media Encoder (Don't know how it compares to VLC, could be better) which worked great and is capable of very high resolution, I think it has a default cap for viewers that you can edit in the registry (google it if 5-10 is too little).

http://www.xfire.com/live_video/ I believe xfire has support for StarCraft as well (but like I said you'll have to verify). All you need to do is DL their xfire application and you can easily setup your streaming by going to the site afterwards and setting up a live broadcast (I haven't done it personally but from what I hear, it's really easy.) Then people can watch you play in a channel like the link from above. All that's required is they download a ActiveX application and install it. Another method of setting up your own stream is the use of mogulus.com and a few other tools as well. If you play windowed mode games you can constrain your video screen to the window only using this (http://www.hmelyoff.com/index.php?section=9). You'll also need to look into getting Adobe Media Center (not free) to create a stream for Mogulus. Mogulus only relays your stream, i'm not sure if they have their own application for creating one. Lastly, you need a solid high bandwidth connection (1 megabit upload sustained is good for a Low Quality stream.) in order to maintain a good stream and play without lag as well.

It's FPS is rather low on the streams but it's certainly viewable. I guess doesn't really matter anyways, I have no reason to need to live stream anything lol

Not one hundred percent sure though, probably better to ask r1ch. EDIT: if anyone is interested in me testing it just post or pm me
