For a final for one of my classes, we had to design a basic, but functional website. I took this as an opportunity to just take it all the way and design the website for my photography that I've been wanting to put together for nearly a year now.
It's very basic, and there's not a whole lot on there, but it's at least functional/gets the job done.
What I love, though, is that I finally launch this thing at a time when I haven't been active at all with my photography. I haven't processed a photo in like three or four months, and I haven't gone out shooting in like four or five. -____-;;
It's hosted on my school's student webserver, so it may get slow at times...especially the javascript gallery in the gallery section.
Please let me know what you think. It's not complete, yet...there's still more content I'm thinking of putting on there, and there are a few errors here and there.
Please give comments, criticism, etc. (:

): haha.
I don't know any other way to do it. My cousin taught me this. haha.
*NOTE* Ignore the little contact button on the gallery page...I had to put that in because the final assignment required that we use TWO pieces of javascript on our website...and I couldn't think of or figure out anything else to do...lol.

You can use CSS for layouts a lot easier to work with than tables, i like the layout, maybe add some rollovers for the links? instead of the underlining, but none the less a really gj for your first site

I'm an html noob so I'll refrain from saying anything about the site - I love some of those photos though - especially the portraits.

Like Moff said using XHTML combined with CSS makes for a much more powerful combination that is easy to make and update! <div> is keyword here Tables should actually only be used when you really have a bunch of data that can only be shown in tabular form.

Nothing bad to say, love most of the photos (I'm not particularly a big fan of portrait pictures)

@ Moff and Xeo: I did use CSS, though only for assigning <p> tags and such...lol. Yeah, I'm a complete noob. I know NOTHING about XHTML, and div tags confuse me. :X
@ Moff: I'm definitely looking into making the navbar a bit more interactive...maybe replacing them with buttons instead of just textlinks. I'll have to come up with a color palette and actual design for that, though.
@ Banzu and nevergg: Thanks. I love portraiture...really fun and challenging form of photography. I haven't done as much as I'd like in it, though. I was trying to get into it semi-professionally several months back...but a few things happened, and it didn't work out.
nevergg, you're a professional yourself, no? Are you into street photography at all?
