So you want to watch pro gamers get destroyed by the same build that owns you rather than watch them overcome it? Come on, man. Watch the VODs, even if the players are quite obviously better; the end result is the same. How they play vs that build is what you're aiming for. | ||

What I do know is that I pretty clearly stated that I keep losing because I suck, not because Protoss is imbalanced. Hell, deep down, I know it isn't imbalanced, it is just that, in the hands of better players, it seems that way. They micro their zealots well, they position their storms properly etc. As for the guy who mentioned VOD's, watching the pro's deflect the builds does help, but in the end situations like that come down to micro, and you cannot learn micro watching some pro play, you have to do it yourself. That is why I have been playing a lot against it, getting friends to do the build against me. | ||

I started off as a Terran player, but then people started complaining about how Z>P. So I changed to Z to abuse that match-up. After the new maps/ FE style I changed to protoss. If you're already at a high level with one race I see why you might be reluctant to change, but you're at a low level anyway so it doesn't really matter. Maybe you'll play protoss for a bit, realise their shortcomings and become a stronger zerg player. Or just stop making excuses, you do mention you lose because you suck, so just leave it at that, no need to incite race related flaming. | ||

 for me a 2gate is incredible hard to beat. but as you said im getting better at it every time... the normal fe-toss: i often read that the key to beat low-level protoss is just to outmacro them.....ok! so i take my bases while he sits behind his fe-cannons teching up to HTs/reaver.i get a crapload of ctrl-groups hyds/lings ... and then? can someone tell me how to follow up or give me some advice on hive-timing? normally if i managed to get a good early game i just try to prevent his 3rd but i lose soo much doing this due to HTs/reaver/drops (scourge are soo stupid!). when i somehow got behind during early game he just pushes out and steamrolls my bases with his toss-super-mixed ball (zeals,goons,ht,archons). its seems so much easier for a 100apm player to throw around 3 storms raping a gazillion zerg units in 2 seconds than dodging it with 4 groups of cute zerg units oh btw: the tech switch to mutas after the initial hydras worked for me quite well almost everytime i did it. think i saw it in a jaedong game 1-2 months ago. | ||
