Basically, all of you are at a higher level than me, so what seems blatantly obvious to you probably won't to me. The reason I write blogs is to vent frustration, so I guess you see the worst of me here, but those of you who refer to that ONE line about 1A2A3A etc need to realise that the stigma about protoss exists for a reason. A whole host of people, almost all of which are more skilled than I, some of which have posted in this very thread, have at least considered the possibility protoss is easy. They may say it as a joke, but even jokes have some truth to them. If you read the WHOLE post, as well as the responses I have made to people in this thread, you will see that, outside of that one, shameful instance, I know deep down that my failure against protoss comes down to my failure as a player, not any imbalance on their part. Let me spell it out for everyone. I suck at Starcraft, that is the reason why I am losing. Happy now? Until such a time where I am better (if that ever comes) it is only natural for me to get frustrated and angry, and attempt to blame other things for my losses. PROTOSS IS NOT IMBALANCED! With a clear mind, that is easy enough to say, but when you keep losing to them, as I have been, frustration sets in. I am only human folks - those of you who act like you are holier than thou - as though you have never been BM on icccup, battle.net, or just on the internet in general need to get off your high horse. Sure, what I did wasn't "classy", it wasn't polite and I am not proud of it, but that is how I felt at the time. I would take it back if I could.

Yeah yeah. ![]() Rhetorics... let's put it this way: There's no easy mode since all races are hard, the game is too fast, and there's too much to multitask. There's also no 100% win guarantee... because you WILL lose some games no matter what, you WILL lose to crap you shouldn't have lost against, you WILL lose to crap you've trained to defend against (and know the best build against) 82947928347 times before. However, when playing P as a foreigner it's very likely that you'll lose less games than you would when playing one of the other two races. Because you can play surprisingly solid games without having 300-400 APM or shitloads of experience. Because micro mistakes are more tolerable since the units have high HP. Because you have the most effective harass-type drops (storm/reaver/DT) which can decide a game very quickly. Because most of your army consists of basic attack units (zealots and goons in every matchup) which have no special attacks so they're really 1a2a3a) - you don't need to do highly mechanical things like muta harassing vs. T, controlling 23482342 lings (while using defilers too), or laying mines and sieging all the time with your whole army. Because you don't have such a thing called "undefended expansions" like you have when playing as Z - every single one of your expos is spammed with 43598453 cannons (at least 1-3 plus blocking pylons when playing vs Terran; more when playing vs. Z) since you can just spend that 150*x of minerals "on the side" whereas the other races have to really spend all their money into the army alone. And because units take a "long" time to build so you have more time for micro. I mean that's really basic stuff that should be obvious why playing P makes you lose less games unless you hit a ridiculously high skill level where all races are equally well playable, and even then current maps seem to favor you (statistically speaking), so...
