This dish is a vegetarian one without any meat. Its just a simple combination of tomatoes, garlic and onions.
To add some illustration, I will post pictures to guide you along. This is assuming that you're just cooking for yourself.
Things You Will Need
- Around 10 cloves of garlic
- 1/4 of an onion
- Spaghetti(Just choose how much you want to eat)
- Oregano
- Tomatoes(Around 10 small ones for one person.)
- Olive oil
- 3/2 Tablespoons of salt(sodium chloride)
- 2 pots(preferably those big enough to make soup for a family of 4)
- A saucepan
- A drainer thingy for spaghetti and tomatoes
Here's a picture of the things I used though oregano is not in this picture.
1. Prepare both pots with water to boil over a strong fire. Put one tablespoon of salt into one of the pots.
2. While waiting for the water to boil, dice up your garlic and cut slices of onions.
3. After the water has boiled, put the spaghetti into the pot that you put the salt into and the tomatoes into the other pot.
You must allow the spaghetti to cook first before you start frying.
4. Your tomatoes will be done way before the spaghetti will be. When you see something like this:
your tomatoes are done
5. Drain the water away from the tomatoes and soak them under tap water for them to cool.
6. Once the spaghetti is cooked, drain the water away by using that drainer thingy.
7. Put olive oil onto the saucepan under medium fire to allow the oil to heat up.
8. Fry the onions and garlics like how firebats own lings. Fry till they turn golden.
9. Put the spaghetti into the saucepan and toss the spaghetti to allow the garlic and onions to be spread evenly in the spaghetti.
10. After its well-tossed, turn the fire off and start mashing up the tomatoes. You will want the whole tomato except for the seeds inside.
11. Remove the skin and layers covering the seeds into a pot and squeeze and wipe the seeds away. You want as little seeds as possible. CAUTION: The insides of the tomato may still be really hot so be careful with your hands. Scalded fingers and starcraft don't go. Unless if you're protoss where you can live off 1a2a3a.
12. When all tomatoes have been cleared of their seeds, use your hand to squeeze and mash up the tomatoes. They need to be well mashed so that the sauce will be smooth. Add in 1/4 tablespoons of salt.
13. Grab the pot where you cooked pasta and put olive oil into it. The pot should be dry before putting the olive oil. Pour the tomato sauce into the pot and stir until it is hot.
14. Serve the sauce over the pasta and sprinkle parsely over the spaghetti if you've got some.
Viola!
I need feedback on the effectiveness of these instructions as I plan to post more of these soon.
Thanks and enjoy your meal.
