I'm playing a lot of games atm, iccup and hamachi, i still don't have a strat that i constantly play vs toss. My TvZ i win about 50% of games at C level. Zvt I can manage to B- with some time. Anyone wanna help me out by showing me certain things about my game, like through chatting and reps? I'll post some replays later. Maybe someone who won't mind whipping my ass nonstop in games.

(I ZvT, ZvP, TvZ)

Slained[sR]? I'm impressed you got to C, you've come a long way You'll definitely be better than me if you make it to B.

Why do you avoid ZvZ? It's such a beautiful match up. I guess it helps your ZvT inadvertently though. PvZ is complicated and I still don't really know what the Zerg is supposed to do (I just do... sometimes it feels good and it works, and other times I feel out of the zone).

I've got some wacky PvZ business I've been wanting to try out though, so we can game if you want Just f add Zombie[sR] and we'll play for some nostalgia.

imo, learn zvz. Once you get a feel for the mu you'll be naturally better at it since you play ZvX more often anyway.

zvz is nice, i just hate not being free to do my thang i hate matching my opponent. Plus i get gayed by mismicro or sending the ovie in the beginning to the wrong spot, just too inconsistent

imo, if you want to get to really high levels you're going to want to pick one race to main in all matchups.

It's going to improve your overall zerg mechanics, boosting you to the B-A levels. Your TvZ is helping your ZvT, but you're going to become to specialized this way ;o

the jump from C -> B is HUGE. you should probably worry about even reaching C+ before you start worrying about 3 ranks up

I remember you being like C-/D+. It was a while ago though.

But yeah,I don't think you really understand how much the skill level jumps as you go up the ranks.

D+ ->C- are virtually the same.
C- ->C not that much difference
C ->C+ pretty big jump

anything higher (C+ ->B-, B- ->B,B -> B+) is HUGEEEEEEE

I disagree. There is a decent amount of difference between the two. Surely, not as much as C --> C+, but still a difference.

And also, Slained - if you're looking to get to B, just know that it'll take a LOT of time in doing so, and even with the most efficient time spent on the game, it'll still take a long time. Best of luck.

It took me a long time to be able to hit C from C-, i think its a pretty big jump too. This game has the biggest skill level jumps of any game out there easily.

I think C -> B- are the two largest (and closest) gaps in iccup in terms of skill

At C you have alot of players with bad multitasking,strategy,micro and macro, or they are good at all but one, decent/average at all, or very good at 1 or 2

and B- the players understand the strategy,macro and micro with multi-tasking being the most common alignment.

Just my opinion though.

I offer the opposite advice. Learn ZvT. The smooth unit control that's required will spill over in the macro clusterfuck that is ZvP.

Seconded.

ZvZ teaches you how to Micro muta/scourge/lings very well. It does not help with ZvP at all, Great control of 1 base eco and a control group of mutas or lings doesn't get you very far in zvp ... not when they are on there third base ....
