Alright, so there is this cute Asian chick on the bus. She catches it every morning a few stops after I first do.
Now, I have ZERO experience when it comes to Asian women. I'm fairly sure she's not from here. We don't get have many Asians in my city, they're usually college students. So I'm guessing shes Japanese, Korean, or Chinese. In that order from greatest chance to least.
I want to attempt to start talking to her, but I actually want to be pretty smooth about it. So I mean how do you really approach an Asian woman? Are they just like non-Asian women.
Also if anyone could please tell me how to say the sentences
"Hi"
"Hows it going?"
(Her response would probably be "I'm well" or "I'm good" so a translation of that would be nice too)
"I'm good myself."
or the equivalent in Japanese, Korean, and Chinese. That'd be great.
Now I'm really hoping she's one of the following races... If not, I'm going to look like such an ass haha.

Dude I'm not lying... I'm really serious when I say this.
If you've seen her often on the bus going somewhere, chances are, she has noticed you too. The only thing people do on the bus is look at who else is on the bus. If you've seen her often, she's bound to have see you often as well. Just try to make yourself noticeable to her. The best way to break the ice without making yourself seem weird on the bus to other people...
Write her a note, hand it to her before she gets of or you do. Put your contact info on it and hope for the best.

Describe what she looks like (or camera phone) and we can probably discern what ethnicity she is. Asians can spot our own.
How you approach "asian women" really depends on their background.

next time you go to the bus stop bring 3 bags of rice with you. Make sure they are transparent so she sees it, if this fails then you'll have to find another bus stop

lol, that's a really bad idea. I know a guy who tried to hit on an asian waitress like that: she gave him a "wtf?" look and ignored him for the rest of our stay.
Seriously, though, if you really try that, you'll end up doing at least one of the following:
(a) Looking dumb (because you won't know how to pronounce it at all, let alone if you guess her ethnicity incorrectly).
(b) Looking creepy.
(c) Looking like you're desperate to impress her.
In short: don't do this. You want to approach her and start a casual, on-the-spot conversation, then progress from there. Showing someone you've gone out of your way to guess their ethnicity and tried to learn a few words in their language is not casual or on-the-spot at all.
Lastly, don't stress over the fact that she's asian. I'm sure by the time you've talked to her a few times, you'll know FAR more about her than we could ever guess by judging from her race.

As for my own advice:
When approaching, do it a few stops before you (or she) gets off. That way if it is awkward or you find yourself not having much to say you have an excuse for leaving the bus and not having that weird silence. Ask for her name. Don't introduce yourself; she will ask if she wants to know. Ask something like where she is taking the bus to, from there just listen to her responses. If she says something along the lines of going to work or school, ask what she does for her job or what she is studying. Keep leading the conversation based on things she mentions. Focus the conversation as being about her rather than youself. They shouldn't always be questions, you can make comments about the things she says too. If she asks about you, be brief and get the topic back on her.
At the end of your encounter, tell her to give you her phone number. Don't ask for it. Say "Let me have you number so we can [hang out] some time." or "Give me your number so we can finish this talk later." She can't decline giving you her number as well if it wasn't a question, plus it shows you are confident and know what you want. Girls like that. Be sure you've given yourself enough time to actually get the number and not miss your stop though.
Call her when you think you should (I don't buy into any of that "wait two days before you call" crap) but wait longer than later that day, you don't want to seem desperate to talk with her. When you call, make it short. Set up an appointment for coffee or something. Again, don't ask what time would be good for her, girls are generally indecisive.
